HIKE TO SINE CAMP
Rwenzori Mountains National Park - Guests receive a briefing from the guides at the basecamp, located at 1,450 meters, before beginning the trek. The hike to Sine Camp, situated at 2,596 meters, takes guests through the towering trees of the Afro-montane forest zone. This is a steady climb for approximately 6 kilometers, followed by a steep ascent towards Sine Hut. The hike offers numerous plant and flower species to admire, as well as birds and the possibility of spotting some animal species like Colobus monkeys. Guests will cross the stunning Enock Falls as they make their way up to Sine Camp, which is only 200 meters from Sine. The trek covers 9.5 kilometers and takes approximately 5 to 6 hours of walking.
ENOCK FALLS & DEPARTURE
Rwenzori Mountains National Park - After enjoying a hearty breakfast, guests will set off just ahead of Sine, taking the left slope on the trail down to the picturesque Enock Falls, located just 200 meters from Sine Hut. After crossing the river, guests will embark on a steady descent through the beautiful forest trail, with excellent opportunities to view Colobus monkeys and listen to the birds as they head back down to the basecamp. The descent covers the same distance of 9.5 kilometers and takes approximately 5 to 6 hours of walking. Afterward, guests will be transferred back to Kampala.
