Great experience - We had a wonderful morning learning the skills required for miniature painting. It's harder than it looks folks! But our lovely teacher was fabulous and taught us a few basic skills so we could come away with our own creation. They also have a great shop which supports local artists. I believe their work and shop is genuine.

A unique experience - We got chatting to Naresh at the nearby ghat and he told us about his studio and art class. We were looking for something different to do away from the usual tourist sites and the art class was perfect. Jeetu conducted the class and was a great teacher, we spent a relaxing 2 hours learning the traditional techniques of miniature art, and the homemade masala chai was an added bonus

Amazing experience - It was a really authentic experience learning about the art and the story behind the family run business. We had such a great time making the art pieces! There were beautiful pieces of artwork for sale too and no pressure to buy or look at any of them! We even got made homemade Indian chai which made our experience even better!

A timeless moment! - So much pleasure with my teacher. He took time and care to transmit his passion in such a gentle way. For me it was a great experience, something like a meditation. You realise how gifted are the miniatures artists when you give it a try. I highly recommend this timeless moment. My only regret, I was tired and hungry, I couldn’t look carefully to their real subtle and beautiful work. I will come back for sure🙏🏻

Art gallery that makes a very interesting stop - An art gallery close to the artists, where you will see students, and sometimes masters, at work. They are passionate about what they do and will explain everything about the four traditional art forms of Rajasthan (and of Udaipur in particular). They will tell you everything you want to know about the different media, about how they make the unalterable mineral pigments, and how to judge the quality and authenticity of works of art, whether traditional or innovative. A very interesting stop, and prices that are not exaggerated, but proportional to the amount of work that goes into each piece. And you don't have to buy anything; this is not a place where you will be harassed. They are passionate and ready to explain their art and demonstrate it to you, whether you are there to buy or not. It's not a tourist trap like many others in the city (avoid the places close to the city palace for instance); it's a place where you'll find varying levels of quality and craftsmanship in a variety of works that they will be happy to show you, including some truly remarkable pieces.

Great experience. - Thanks to Pacific Art, I got the chance to learn the beautiful art of Mewar painting! 🎨💫 The tutor was incredibly patient, explained the techniques and the rich history behind the art form. Loved how the class was calm, detailed, and never felt rushed. A truly enriching experience!
