Hello everyone! We are excited to offer a private tour from Tbilisi to DAVID GAREJA, featuring the Rainbow Mountains and the Kakheti Wine Region. The tour begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel at 9:30 am.
Our first stop is the Manavi “Churchkhela” store, where you can indulge in tasting Georgian candies, wine, and chacha. Next, we’ll visit Badiauri for some delicious hot Shoti bread with cheese, which is included in the tour.
We’ll then proceed to Bodbe, home to Saint Nino’s convent, where you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the lush Alazani Valley. Our journey continues to Sighnaghi, famously known as the city of love, with its 23 towers.
Following this, we’ll explore the 6th-century David Gareja Lavra, intricately carved into the rock mountain.
At the conclusion of your tour, (Choose your preferred package when booking. Check inclusions. There are 4 packages available), we will visit the Organic Wine Cellar. Here, you can savor 5 types of wine and chacha, accompanied by snacks or a hearty Georgian dinner with barbecue and wine. Finally, we will return to Tbilisi.
