Gunung Lebah Temple - Pura Gunung Lebah, also known as Gunung Lebah Temple, is a key landmark in Ubud. This 8th-century temple is situated at the western end of Jalan Raya Ubud, overlooking the eastern side of Ubud’s Campuhan valley. The name translates to ‘mountain valley temple’ in ancient Balinese. The temple’s history traces back to the Hindu priest Rsi Markandeya, who established many of the island’s major temples, including Gunung Lebah in Ubud. Visitors are welcome to explore the temple, which is especially vibrant during its piodalan temple anniversary, celebrated every 210 days on a Wuku Sinta Wednesday according to the Balinese pakuwon calendar.
