Although famous as an art market, it is actually divided into two sections. The west side is the true art market, where you can find and purchase various souvenirs such as paintings, dolls, puppets, curtains, clothes, accessories, and more. We will spend approximately 1 hour here.
• Puri Saren Palace - Next, we head to Puri Saren Palace, a 30-minute drive away. Also known as Saren Agung Palace, this royal palace in Ubud, Gianyar, Bali, is a popular tourist destination due to its beauty, history, and uniqueness. Visitors can also enjoy Balinese Dance performances and royal dinners at the King’s Palace. We will spend around 30 minutes at this location.
• Penglipuran Village - Our journey continues to Penglipuran Village, which is about a 1-hour drive away. This picturesque highland village is renowned for its well-preserved culture and traditional village layout. Despite modern influences, the village maintains its traditional charm with manicured gardens and a stone-paved street leading to the village temple. We will spend about 1 hour here.
• Tegalalang Rice Terrace - Next, we visit the Tegalalang Rice Terrace, a 1-hour drive away. This scenic hillside features terraced rice paddies amidst lush greenery, along with zip lines and jungle swings. We will spend around 1 hour at this site.
• Tirta Empul Temple - Our final destination is Tirta Empul Temple, a 30-minute drive away. Built around a sacred spring in Tampak Siring, this temple has drawn Balinese worshipers for over a thousand years. The spring, believed to have been created by Indra, is said to have healing properties. The temple and its two bathing areas have been used for good health and prosperity for over a millennium. We will spend about 30 minutes here before our driver takes you back to your hotel, which will be a 2-hour drive.
