After descending about 80 steps, you’ll discover many ancient temple pieces and the main cave adorned with old ornaments. • Batuan Temple - Pura Puseh Batuan is a shrine owned by the villagers of Batuan, known for Balinese paintings. The temple is part of the “Tri Kahyangan or Tri Murti” concept taught by Mpu Kuturan around the 10th century to the Balinese Hindu community. Tri Kahyangan includes three temples: Pura Desa or Village Temple for worshiping God Brahma, Pura Puseh for God Vishnu, and Pura Dalem for Lord Shiva. Pura Desa and Pura Puseh Batuan were established in 944 Isaka (1020 AD), nearly 1000 years ago.
