Downhill fun - We did the downhill on mountain bikes and Gede was our guide. He was very good with us, very safety conscious and very knowledgeable of all the places we stopped at. From local school, local house, copi plantation and the amazing rice paddy terraces, everything was fantastic and an easy ride. We enjoyed our traditional Balinese food provided for breakfast and lunch. We had a really fun time.

Education for the whole family. - We had a great day out on our cycle trip through the Ubud countryside… but to say it was just a cycle tour is an understatement!!!
Our driver picked us up right on time at the exact location agreed. He was great to chat with, very friendly and asked and answered lots of our questions. This was a private pick up for just our family of four.
First stop was at a local house where we got to sample some Bali sweet breakfast treats and some hot tea. The family who prepared the food were very lovely and welcoming.
Next stop was a local coffee plantation where we were given a guide through the varying coffee plants. We were shown through the whole process from picking the beans, sorting them, roasting and grinding. We were then given the chance to try about 13 different coffee and teas, which the kids really enjoyed.
Next it was on to the bikes - these were modern mountain bikes with front suspension and easy change gears. They also had a smaller bike for our 6 year old son (our 10 year old daughter was able to ride the adult bike). Then it was down the country road past various crops, jungle and small houses (the whole cycle is downhill you done really need to peddle at all). We then stopped at a local school where our awesome guide Joe (hoping I’m spelling that right) told us all about the village school. We then had the chance to go into one of the classrooms and meet with some of the children (this was a major highlight as my wife is a school teacher). Next stop about 20mins down the road was to a typical Balinese house where Joe again explained the various features of the house as well as asked us what our housing was like back home - I loved that Joe was not only interested in educating us about Bali, he was also keen to learn from us too. Next stop was a village temple where Joe again explained everything about the place and asked us some questions too - he also took lots of photos for us which meant that the whole family was in the shot. Last stop was to some rice paddy fields with a good talk about how the farmers use the water system to get their crops growing. Then it was back to the house we had breakfast, this time for a very yummy Balinese lunch.
Overall this was a great tour and ticked all our boxes!!! Would recommend to anyone wanting to get away from the traffic and get a small glimpse into the real Bali life.

Do not buy this tour!! - Tour didn’t turn up to collect us from our hotel. The organiser then proceeded to ignore all our messages and call for the rest of the day. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional. Viator have been informed and refund has been requested along with compensation for ruining a day of our holiday. Do not waste your time or money on this company or any of their activities!

Do not book with this scam lady! - We booked a tour through Viator for 12pm. We received a call from the owner at 6am staying we could not do the 12pm and had to move to 8am. We agreed and were told to meet the driver at 8am outside the hotel. We waiting for 90 minutes for the driver who never arrived, we tried to contact the organisers who blatantly ignored over 50 phone calls and messages and refused to answer or solve the issues. This company is terrible and a scam. Do not use them. This lady should be took down from Tripadvisor and Viator.
