Amazing sunrise tour - Our Mt. Batur sunrise private tour was a one of a kind experience. The logistics were smooth, starting with a punctual 3 AM pickup from our Ubud accommodation via a private car. The hike to the summit was rewarded with excellent sunrise views. Following the descent, the tour included a stop at the interesting black lava fields. Our driver Prima was a key part of the experience. He was consistently nice and friendly, and thoughtfully took time to help us capture several photos, including wide shots of the stars and images during the sunrise itself. Overall, we were really satisfied with the tour and we got great pictures and long-lasting memories.

excellent trip - We had to wake up at 2 am but it was worth it. Amazing view of sunrise, excellent guide and a morning to remember forever.

Challenging Volcano Climb with a Rewarding - This climb is quite demanding, especially if you're not an experienced hiker. The first half is manageable as it's paved, but the remainder of the trek is suited for seasoned climbers. Our private guide, EKA, was exceptional; he patiently accommodated our slower pace and ensured we took ample breaks. At the summit, EKA prepared a simple breakfast for us. We were fortunate to have clear views and enjoyed a stunning sunrise.I highly recommend this tour, but be prepared for a strenuous hike. Bring plenty of water and wear layers, as it gets cold at the top.

Beware! - I booked this experience for a 2:30 am pickup which was the last pickup time available and clearly detailed in the email sent to me. When the driver reached out via WhatsApp he had changed the pick up time to 1:30 am which I immediately questioned but he insisted that this was the time based on the area our hotel was in. We agreed to this change. We arrived at the pickup spot at 1:10 am which was in an area that was dark and had many feral dogs running loose. We waited until 1:50 am but attempted to text and call the driver once 1:30 am passed with no response. We then called another driver to take us back to our hotel. The tour driver calls at 1:54 am stating that he had "just woke up" and then asked us to wait more time for his arrival. He later shared an image showing he had arrived at 2:18 am, so another 20+ mins. Rather than trust this we decided to return to our hotel and request a refund. I have shared screenshots of all my texts with the driver to Viator and expect to be refunded as this situation was handled poorly and unprofessionally. Additionally we ended up booking the tour with another company who arrived on time to take us to Mt. Batur.
