You haven’t fully experienced Bali until you’ve witnessed some of its vibrant, traditional dances. We offer you the opportunity to see three of the most renowned ones:
- The Sanghyang (Trance) Dance, typically performed for the purpose of driving out evil spirits and bringing harmony and health to a settlement.
- The Kecak (Monkey) Dance, executed by a troop of no less than 50 men who form a circle around a roaring fire.
- The Fire Dance, during which the performer enters a trance-like state, allowing them to step onto hot coal without experiencing discomfort.
After the performance concludes, your guide will be pleased to take you to one of the many local dining establishments near your place of stay - most of these establishments offer a courtesy transfer service back to your accommodation. Please note that the meal is not included.

Interesting dance! - Interesting dance, the performers showed astounding fortitude stepping on the fire ovrr and over.
Please note: THIS IS NOT the cliffside fire temple.
Other than that, the guide tried to give us as much info as possible about the tour and Balinese culture. Must give him props!

Thank You Darta! - Darta anticipated the heavy traffic in travel time. We had a few minutes to spare so we went to a temple. Darta gave me a tour and was very insightful on the buildings and ceremonies held there. Darta explained the storyline for the show very well, so I knew what scene we were at during the program. Darta is very knowledgeable about Bali history and share a lot of his information.

Spiritual story, not merely showy - Interesting cultural experience when tour includes an explanation of the ancient story that is portrayed. A trip from Kuta can be a long one due to traffic, though

Gift shop stops prior to the show - The driver & guide were good. The traditional dance was interesting and worth seeing. The only thing that let the experience down were the gift shop stops prior to the dance show (these weren’t listed in the tour itinerary). They really should be listed as part of it, with an option to opt out. Had we known we would have just caught a taxi to the show.

An enjoyable evening watching traditional dance - An insight into the traditional dance of Bali. The show lasted about an hour. The dance show was very lively and the young girls who dance at the end as well as the man who danced in the fire were spectacular,

Great dance with great view - Great plot story from the performance based on a traditional balinese ritual its was fun with the live human chant and also the great view with the sunset around performance.

Not worth the money - If you are thinking of doing this in Legain or near there please note this is a good 1/12 hour drive ( its on the border of UBUD. There was no food on offer only packets of chips and drinks. It was very amateurish for what you received. We arrived early and the operator offered to take us to a silver shop that was cheap. It was quite expensive. One of the people with us had wanted to buy something but as we werent aware of this side trip didnt have enough money.

Dance was great but the tour guide was USELESS! - Don’t waste your time or money booking this tour - get the ticket when you’re there and enjoy the dance because this tour operator does not deliver! The female tour guide did not even introduce herself. She met us at the entrance, handed us a piece of paper with details of the dance (we could not read it in the dimly lit venue), took a pic of us with a dancer (the dancer takes a pic with anyone who wants one taken so it is not by special arrangement), told us to sit anywhere, pointed to the exit and left. She did not even bother to see if we were comfortably seated or explained the dance to us( our driver did this on the way back to the hotel) or ensured that we left safely. We felt ripped off and I will never use this tour operator again!!!
