• Wat Khao Phra Si Sanphetchayaram or Wat Khao Phra - Wat Phra Si Sanphet: This significant and remarkable monastery is situated within the grand palace compound, originally used as a royal residence. It was transformed into a monastery during the reign of King Ramathibodi I. - Wat Lokaya Sutha: The highlight of this monastery is its 42-meter-long Reclining Buddha image, typically adorned in orange cloth. Besides the central prang, which is in relatively good condition, only the base of the main buildings remains today. - Viharn Pra Mongkolborpit is located south of Wat Prasrisanpetch and houses the bronze Buddha image in the posture of subduing Mara. This Buddha image measures 9.55 meters across the lap and stands 12.45 meters tall, making it one of the largest Buddha images in Thailand.
