It was a good trip and our tour guide Jim was very informative and considerate. Thank you.
Jim is an awesome guide. As we are from NY he pointed out birds native to this area. Saw lots of turtles and even a cute little baby turtle. He even hopped out of his kayak to rescue a hurt turtle which was awesome! He took it slow and easy which was great and answered our questions. He talked with each of us about his life and our life which just made it so friendly. Nixo our driver and helper with the kayaks is awesome! You rock girl! I read on the web all that you have done and yet you make time for us so we can kayak. Thank you Mission Kayak from one small business to another
Nixo was a great guide. River was cool and peaceful. Lots of birds and turtles. Great for beginners, like us.
We had never kayak so we chose this tour. We received great instructions and had a very enjoyable tour. Out guide was very knowledgeable about the various birds and turtles we encountered. Nice relaxing way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
Jim was a great guide Justin a great guide to be
My daughter and I have never kayaked and this was such a fun activity. The guide gave a brief and simple instruction on how to paddle. He guide was very nice and pleasant. She pointed out wildlife. Would definitely do this again.
I planned this trip for my husband and son (11 yo). They had a great time! We met at the shuttle location at 9:50, got in the water at 10:05, and the trip ended at 11:10. An hour trip was perfect for my son (he's pretty athletic and use to doing outdoor adventures); however, viewers should know the trip is actually about an hour. Everyone is really nice and knowledgeable. I felt safe and confident with their abilities in keep my son safe. We will be recommending to friends and family! I'm already going planning for another trip for us!
Mission Kayak was easy to book, they are very family and kid friendly. We had a 9 year old who half way through decided he didn't want to have his own kayak and the brought a tandem kayaks for him and I to continue to the end on. It was a pleasure and the kids and myself enjoyed it.

We had a really nice time. Sarah is a sweet heart! We'd like to do it again soon.
Our guide, Sarah, was very good! What a great day on the river!
Our shuttle guy was polite and informative. Our guide, Sara, was friendly and fun. She pointed out several different animals. She even had a baby turtle she had caught that we got to see before releasing it back. The river was calm and easy to paddle which was great for the inexperienced (us). I would recommend this trip for families or those new to kayaking.
Was an awesome experience and very affordable.
So well organized; just a great trip! Our guide was extremely knowledgable about the sport, the area and the wildlife. We had never kayaked before and this was a terrific introduction.
Sarah was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the local waterfowl and history. Great and relaxing tour!!
Guide needed to cancel but friendly staff turned it around. What a great experience. Might do it again after my body recovers! Gracias.
Thank you Sarah for this awesome experience!
The 2-mile trip was a present to my 9-year-old grandson, so Sarah, the company's guide (and owner) suggested we use a 2-person kayak. We did and so were able to interact on paddling and with conversation. Turns out on this day (August 19, 2016) that the two of us were Sarah's only clients on this trip. We received much personal attention and comments about the wild life we saw. The most spectacular wild-life viewing was a great white egret. The water was a little higher than usual, which made shooting the two mild "rapids" fun. I recommend Mission Kayak for it's offerings and equipment and I recommend Sarah for her courtesy, promptness, and enthusiasm. She loves her work.
Had a fantastic morning. The guide was fantastic!
I picked this rating because this was our first experience and I felt really comfortable with our tour guide. She was very nice and patient.
