The tour commences near the town of Tres Equis; an hour East of Turrialba.

Best Family Rafting Ever~ - We loved this rafting experience. We especially loved swimming in the swimming hole and seeing all the amazing creatures along the way.

UNBEATABLE - Amazing experience. Really one of the best places in the world for rafting. I'd definitely come back. The super attentive guides knew how to teach us everything about activity safety and make the experience amazing. We had tacos for lunch halfway through the jungle. It's always gonna stay in my memory.

Family section was great for my kids - Overall, a fantastic experience. I have spent my career working for amd managing river businesses like this one.
This outfit runs a high quality operation. Good communication, friendly guides.
We did the family section up near finca tres equis, above the big whitewater.
Still lots of small rapids, good scenery and good timing for a half day.
This was perfect for my 7 year old. The tractor ride down to the river was very cool. Lunch was better than what the clients get in jackson hole on similar trips that I ran.
I would make this a priority on your trip. My son is already planning our return trip when he'll be 12 and can go on the big kid section.

What an amazing rafting experience - Yesterday we had an awesome rafting experience under the guidance of Luis. In between the rapids he took the time to explain the local fauna, flora , geology … what a professional and great team Exploranatura is. I will recommend you guys highly to everyone who visits Costa Rica. Thanks also to Eduardo and Laura.

Amazing!! - Incredible rafting, probably the best activity we did in Costa Rica!
A huge thank you to our guides José and Manuel, who were absolutely on top from start to finish: very friendly, professional and always attentive to safety. You immediately feel confident with them, which allows you to fully enjoy the adventure.
The descent is fun, sporty and beautiful. Guides also take the time to introduce us to the flora and fauna around the river, which makes the experience even more rewarding.
The riverside meal was delicious, a real moment of relaxation after the effort in an incredible natural setting.
Perfect organization, great atmosphere and guaranteed sensations. I recommend 100%!

Pura Vida - Experience nature at its origin 😁 - WOW..what a great adventure..
Together with our guides Luis & Eduardo (in Saftey Kayak) we were able to experience & enjoy this fantastic unspoilt nature today.
Throughout the cat. 3/4 Rafting tour we felt super safe thanks to the great, extensive and understandable briefing and the clear commands of Luis.
In addition, there was a lot of information about the flora & fauna 👍😁.
To Eduardo a chef has been "lost", he has conjured a delicious lunch for us in no time.
We agree, this experience is one of our Costa Rica highlights 👍.

Great experience with Eduardo and Jose Luis rafting - A great experience. The river and rapids are wonderful. But above all the people from Explornatura, Eduardo and Jose Luis. Care for safety, explaining the sites and preparing a wonderful lunch. If you like rafting this is a must do with this guys.

A unique experience!! For those who like adventure and excellent landscape and the guides were excellent. - Rafting on the Pacuare River is amazing. The landscape is beautiful and the activity itself is adventure that is what we were looking for. There are parts with fast challenges and that adds to the experience. Everything was done safely and well organized. The guides Eduardo and José Luis were 5 stars, very friendly and explained everything very well. I highly recommend!

Adrenaline and no dry wire on your body! - Great raft of 27 km in 3.5 hours. Good and comprehensive safety instructions. We went with 2 rafts and someone went along in a kayak, to pick you up if you fall out. But the guide was so knowledgeable that everyone stayed on board. Don’t expect dry wire to your body!
