Great activity! - I’ve done a few canyoning trips in Costa Rica, and this one was actually my favorite. The waterfalls were all varied, and you have excellent zip lines between the rappels, plus a suspension bridge. It’s a great mix of activities and all very fun. The guides are friendly, safe, and create a great environment. I signed up solo but joined a family of 4, and they seemed to all enjoy it - it was their first time. The kids were 11, and after the first rappel, they were racing to the front of the next activity. Everyone had fun, and we saw some wild wildlife - porcupine, sloth, lots of butterflies and birds. Definitely worth a day!

Outstanding, very personalized experience with amazing guides and gorgeous nature - Wonderful, personal, expertly guided experience. They did a great job guiding and reassuring my 10 and 13 year old during the different parts of the adventure. Beautiful views and warm, friendly vibes. We have done similar tours elsewhere in Costa Rica and this is by far the best experience we have had, its a repeat.

Such an amazing experience! - My group were newbies at zip lining and rappelling so had some trepidation as we suited up and set off (and my wife is scared of heights!) but our guides (Walter, Chris & Eric) were absolutely wonderful! They were so calm and instilled full confidence in us. We felt so safe and, by the end, were chomping at the bit for our next waterfall/zip! And I can’t forget our lunch before we set off…totally delicious! We are so thankful for ExplorNatura and the truly memorable experience they facilitated for us…highly recommended for all visitors to Turrialba!

Amazing time - We had an amazing time with Exploranatura on the canyoning and canopy tour. We have 9 year old twins that were a little bit scared and the guides were very fun and caring. The kids loved the ziplines! There were options for the kids to walk around the biggest waterfalls if needed. We had so much fun, one of the highlights of our costa rica trip so far!

Fun, adventurous, and great tour guides! - We had a great experience. Everyone was so friendly and made us feel safe doing something new. We had never rappelled before and Anna and Eric were so supportive and helpful. They even pointed out sloths and a porcupine along the way. Thank you for the adventure!

You should do this and here's why. - Erica and Chris were our guides and they were both skillful and kind. Eric was so nice to our daughter who is 11 years old. He made her feel safe and brave. You get alot for your money in scenery and experiences. Repelling down 4 waterfalls was exillerating. When we went the water flow was strong due to heavy rains which added some challenge. The zip lines were awesome and so fun to see the forest from above. The hanging bridge made me feel like I was in an Indian Jones movie! We saw a porcupine and even saw a sloth. And...the lunch at the base camp was delicious. The best food we have eaten in Costa Rica. We loved every minute of it!

Great day! - Our family had the best day! The food was amazing and home cooked. Chris, Anna & Roy were very experienced and fun. I would recommend this trip to anyone with kids 10 and older and not afraid of some adventure.

The Greatest Adventure in CR! - My wife and I had taken the Canyoning tour with Explornature 7 years ago on our honeymoon and knew it was a must stop again on our return trip. From the warm the welcome by Walter to the thoughtful tour led by Eric and his right hand man Chris, their passion to share flora and fauna along our journey was impeccable. It was easy to see they loved educating their guests. They were first and foremost about our safety and at one point my wife was in need along the suspension bridge and they immediately came to her rescue, by gently reassuring her and assisting her to the finish. They helped us spot a few sloths too. Upon completion we were treated to a wonderful Caribbean chicken dish that was beautifully prepared. Eric is an expert level canyoning guide that is also a part of a canyoning rescue team so you will be in good hands. This is always favorite adventure in CR!

Little adventure - We really enjoyed it, you climb waterfalls down through the water and do ziplining. The falls are not for the faint-hearted and you should be a bit sporty. The ziplining was great, the waterfalls were very adventurous for me numbers 2 and 4 a bit too much, but my husband loved it. And all in all we had a wonderful time, all tour guides were very nice.
