I thought it was gertrude Zachary's history and her furnishings. I hadn't realized it was the turquoise museum-my bad!

I had expected seeing the home of Gertrude Zachary. While learning about the turquoise was interesting I was disheartened to learn that many of zachary’s items were auctioned off or in storage. I felt the Turquoise Museum could have used the setting more and not tried to to just bring in their items. On my part, I should have researched the tour more but if I think I had I probably would not have bought a ticket. I went to see the famous castle in Albuquerque’s skid row all I saw was an extravagant setting not being used to it’s full potential. Just a side note: If you’re going to talk about the 100+ chandeliers on site, make sure they’re not so dusty.

I really enjoyed the visit. However, I didn't find any organizational principal to the exhibit. I wish it has some logical flow to help the visitor to make sense of the information and to enhance learning of it.
