“This tour encompasses great architectural sights - It was like a charm to walk on the old alleys of old towns including Carthage, Sidi Bou Said and Medina. The Zitouna Mosque is an architectural sight to see. I also enjoyed the delicious lunch which we had at a traditional Tunisian eatery.” (Reviewed on 2023-09-11)

The Sahara Desert Tour offers an immersive nomadic adventure that begins at 7:00 AM the following day, allowing you to rest and rejuvenate in preparation for this unique experience. This tour takes you deep into the Sahara Desert, where you will meet the dromedaries and embark on a journey that is both a physical and spiritual exploration.
The evening is a time to unwind and reflect on the day’s discoveries, as you enjoy a hearty dinner and a musical evening around the campfire. The Sahara Desert, with its vast red-ochre dunes and starry skies, offers a sense of solitude and serenity that is unmatched. As you drift off to sleep under the stars, the rhythm of the desert lulls you into a peaceful slumber, leaving you with memories that will last a lifetime.
“Unique experience off the beaten track - The 2 days in the desert were extraordinary, the scenery was fascinating and the food excellent. However, you must be prepared for an off-the-beaten-track experience. After only 30 minutes by car, we reached the camels and a camel. The latter was kind, but did not speak French (although it was indicated that this would be the case). It was very frustrating not being able to communicate and learn things. There was no one but him (and the dancing and singing part did not exist on the camp). We did not imagine for a moment when we chose this tour that the walking part would be so intensive. On the first day, we left the hotel at 7am and arrived at the camp at 5pm. We walked 18 km (the lunch break is very long). In the evening we had no tent (despite our initial request) and slept under the stars. It was finally a wonderful experience, which we are so grateful to have had, but it is good to know because it may not be suitable for everyone. The next day we walked again 12 km. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to walk in the desert, in the sand dunes and feel alone in the world. This is a unique opportunity. Walking is not particularly physical, but tiring especially for the part in the sand dunes. Leave equipped because no information will be given. Remember to be covered as much as possible (hat + scarf against sandbursts).” (Reviewed on 2025-04-07)
