Day 01: After breakfast, depart from Tunis, Hammamet, Sousse, Monastir, or Mahdia to Kairouan, the first Arabic and Islamic city in North Africa. Visit the Great Mosque, the Aghlabid Basins, the Mausoleum of Sidi Saheb, and a carpet-making workshop, known for the second-best quality handmade carpets in the world. Enjoy lunch in Kairouan, then head to the oasis capital, Tozeur. Check-in, have dinner, and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: After breakfast, travel to the mountain oases and waterfalls in the desert at Chebika, Tamerza, and the canyons and fossils in Mides. Enjoy a traditional lunch in the oasis featuring lamb with sauce prepared in a terra cotta jar, accompanied by salad, fruits, and tea. In the afternoon, depart for Nefta to see the water basket “Corbeille de Nefta,” a traditional irrigation system for palm trees. Then, drive to Ong Jmal to visit the “STAR WARS” set in the Sahara, surrounded by high sand dunes. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03: After breakfast, visit the old medina and marketplace of Tozeur, then drive to Douz, “the gateway to the desert,” crossing the largest salt lake in North Africa, “Chott El Jerid,” with a stop at the lake. Have lunch in Douz and visit the Sahara Museum, showcasing the lifestyle and traditions of the Sahara tribes. Optional camel ride or quad tour in the Sahara is available for an additional fee. Drive about 20 km from Douz to the campsite where bread will be prepared in the sand in the traditional Nomadic way. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight under a Berber tent.

Day 04: After breakfast, depart for Ksar Ghilane oasis in the middle of the Sahara, known for its natural thermal water spring and Roman fortress on the Roman Empire’s borders. Have lunch at a restaurant with views of the oasis and water spring. In the afternoon, head to the Berber village of Matmata to admire the underground dwellings and the Star Wars site. Take a short tour of the village and drive to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 05: After breakfast, depart for Ksar Hedada, enjoying a panoramic landscape through the Atlas Mountains with a brief stop in the village of Toujene. Visit Ksar Hedada, a Star Wars filming location in 1997, and continue to the Ksar of Chenini through the village of Ghermessa. Have lunch and explore the village of Chenini, then drive to the castle village of Douiret. Check-in at a guest house, have dinner, and stay overnight in rooms dating back to the 11th century.

Day 06: After breakfast, depart for El Jem. Enjoy lunch and visit the third-largest Roman amphitheater in the world and the museum of ancient “Thysdrus.” Drive back to Monastir, Sousse, Hammamet, or Tunis.
