With its breathtaking views and fortified walls, Tulum was a crucial commercial port for the Maya, particularly for trading obsidian.

As you venture underground, experience three different cenotes: a full-cave cenote, a semi-open cenote, and a fully open cenote. Learn about the ecological importance of cenotes, their formation, wildlife, surrounding flora and fauna, and the culture and history they hold. Swim and explore each location at your leisure. No expert swimming skills are needed to enjoy this experience! All snorkel equipment and life vests are provided for a comfortable float through the cenotes.

• Playa Pescadores - Opt for our upgraded all-inclusive booking to see the Tulum Ruins from the water (note this is instead of walking the Ruins).

Either before or after visiting the Cenotes, head to Playa Pescadores, one of Tulum’s beautiful public beaches and the only marina in Tulum. Board a boat to view the ancient ruins of Tulum from the stunning turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Your guide will share the history of this impressive archaeological site, and you’ll have the chance to see how the Mayans operated this vital commercial seaport from the water. Before returning to shore, the boat will anchor on the reef, allowing you to dive into the serene sea and snorkel with your guide among stingrays, sea turtles, and hundreds of colorful fish.
