Well coordinated and good value for money. - We did the Tulum Ruins Tour, Cenote and Turtle Swim on the 22nd May. We got picked up from our hotel no issues and taken to the tour operator’s base. From there we swapped vehicles and met with the rest of our group. We had a guided tour of the ruins at Tulum which we really enjoyed. However, be warned if you’re not great with the heat you might struggle with this as there is lots of walking round and talking in the sun which can’t really be helped. Our guide was very good and knowledgeable, his name was Nico. After this we were taken back to the location which we believe is owned by the company where many of the activates are carried out. We had a lunch which was good and the staff seemed very attentive. It is quite a long drive off road to this location and it’s very bumpy, however we quite enjoyed this and felt it added to the experience. Following the lunch we drove through the jungle to the Cenote which was maybe 5-10 mins away. Here we had a guide called Juan who was brilliant, provided plenty of information and help throughout. He had a good sense of humour too. The guide takes you on a tour of the Cenote which is quite an impressive labyrinth. We can’t remember the name of the exact Cenote as we are trying to find it online to show our family pictures of it. After this there was the opportunity to buy some souvenirs, then the group split up to go to whichever activity was chosen next. For us it was the snorkelling with sea turtles at Tulum. We were picked up by a driver who had long hair, can’t remember his name but he likes rock music and was good fun. Once we arrived back in Tulum we were taken through to the beach area where we got onto a boat which had a crew of two to our group size of five. We spent some time exploring the reef and saw plenty of marine life including sea turtles. We were then driven back to our hotel. Overall really good experience.

Can't recommend this enough! - This tour was the highlight of our trip. The Tulum ruins were fascinating, but we didn't adequately prepare with hydration so it was the lower of the activities we enjoyed but still amazing. We went to the cenote in Akumel (?) And it was incredible. The ability to experience that in a group of friends, with an experienced guide was magical. Our guide and driver were knowledgeable, fun, and easy going. The lunch provided was delicious and authentic, which was such a treat. We went next to swim with the turtles and wow we sure did!! Lots of turtles to see, and those in our group that were less comfortable in the water had staff with them making sure they enjoyed their experience. I would give this company 4 thumbs up but I would have to steal a couple. Thank you!

Machete, we love you - Finally an excursion that is worth it. The guide, Machete (Israel) picked us up with a balaclava, and what seemed like an express kidnapping, was an exceptional day. A knowledgeable, fun guide who really cares about you having a good time and enjoying yourself. The best in all of Mexico! A 10/10 for machete.

Visit ruin tulum cenote and diving - The activity was to be done in French especially for the visit of the ruins of tulum and it was done by a guide who spoke English and who was not very explicit about the ruins and their meanings he imposed a long stopover "at the toilet" in a souvenir shop ... The time allowed for the independent site visit is limited to 45 minutes The visit of the cenote was it in French and very pleasant unless you are claustrophobic The party plunged a disaster: dozens of boats in the same place smell of gasoline and troubled water but it is not their fault In short expensive for what it was because entrance to the ruins was charged extra

skip the pyramids - go for cenote - I have very mixed feelings about it. The cenote swim was actually great—we went underwater and had a really majestic, almost spiritual experience. The reef snorkel was OK; we saw turtles and some reef fish, so I’d say it met expectations. The pyramid tour, though, was beyond underwhelming. The preparation and “safety talk” took longer than the tour itself (about 15 minutes for those who were interested), and then we were given an hour of “free time.” Honestly, I could have done that without paying. On the plus side, transportation was reliable. Our driver was always there, and even when he was late, it was never more than about 15 minutes—not enough to be frustrating, and basically comparable in length to the actual pyramid tour.

Worst experience ever - I go to Mexico 1-2x a yr for many years now and do tours here and in different countries and this was the WORST experience We bought the ruins cenote and turtle snorkeling We got picked up by a cab and dropped off at a supermarket he even told us where he was picking us to take us back He told us wait for people with green shirts When he finally came he gave us attitude when I asked if he called my name Another worker came and finally answered me We jumped into one car they drove us to another area and got mad because we didn’t have cash and their card machine wasn’t working We got told we can’t pay with our card We then had to get into another car and went to the ruins Where we got yelled at because we where never told we couldn’t take plastic bottles and to hurry up because the group was waiting when we where putting out things in a locker The tour guide was not interesting and wasted so much time talking and wasted our free time We then went to lunch Where we finally got to pay The lunch was poor eggs rice and beans All tours give you some type of protein Then we went to the Cenote I’ve definitely seen better Then a group that was with us got told their turtle snorkeling was canceled and they could come back another day for it but couldn’t get a refund. They went back to playa the rest of group got split up to go See the turtles but we could of fit in one van So The workers were fighting amongst themselves. About money and they had messed up and so on We then went snorkeling finished and now its time to get back We where sent back to supermarket new driver he was driving fast and crazy and mad he was kicking us out he had other things to do wouldn’t even let me put on my shirt. Then to top this whole ordeal they also canceled our transportation back to hotel. We had to pay for a cab and Tulum cabs are super expensive I love going to Mexico but this was such a horrible experience I need a break
