The ideal way to explore Sian Ka’an is by boat, allowing visitors to navigate various coastal and marine ecosystems that serve as habitats for numerous wild species, including birds, turtles, dolphins, manatees, and the diverse fish population of the Mesoamerican reef. The tour package includes transportation from Tulum, lunch in Punta Allen, and snorkeling gear. However, the snorkeling activity is highly dependent on sea conditions, which may not be predictable until arrival. In the event of adverse weather, the tour may be canceled.
