Best tour of Chicen Itza! - Amazing tour and a great overall experience. Pickup and drop off were both on time, driver was professional and courteous, and our guide (Alejandro) was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and ensured we had a great time.

Very nice experience - This tour is a perfect balance between the much more expensive fully private tours and the cheaper but endless big bus tours. We were the first ones to be picked up and we had only one additional stop. The driver was fast but safe and the guide was chatty but very knowledgeable. Thank you Paolino (driver) and Tomas (guide) for a nice cultural day.

Wonderful experience - We learned so much about the Mayan civilization touring Chichen itza. Karina, our guide was fantastic—very knowledgeable, engaging, and interactive. She explained everything clearly and made the tour both informative and enjoyable. You could tell she truly cared about sharing the history and culture. Highly recommend! Cenotes and valladolid were great to see too.

A great tour and a great day out from Playa Del Carmen - The tour was absolutely fantastic, our guide Karina was very friendly, she gave us a lot of information about the various places we visited during the tour and was very helpful every step of the way. Chichen Itza is a wonderful place, such an amazing temple and there is plenty to look around at, again Karina gave us a lot of information about the history and also gave us some advice about what to avoid in the market. Our driver Roberto was also very good, he got us to and from each location safely and efficiently, and the minibus was very clean. Valladolid is also a beautiful place, there was an amazing market there when we visited which was good fun to look around, highly recommend the Edam cheese ice cream! Sounds weird but it's delicious! The cenote was great, the toilets used as a changing room were not very clean but it didn't ruin the experience. I can't actually swim so it was good to see that life jackets were mandatory, and the views and general beauty of the place was breathtaking! Anyone considering this tour or any of the tours this company organises, definitely do it!

Mimi the Ultimate Tour Guide - It was a great time. Mimi did a great job getting us in and out and doing it early to avoid the large crowd. She is. Wry personable. Also, David was an excellent driver. He made good use of our time.

No hotel pickup as advertised - The tour itself was excellent and the guide was very knowledgeable. The tour was advertised to include hotel pick up and I even put in the hotel information. However, the operator would not pick us up at the hotel and we instead needed to walk nearly 30 mins to a nearby supermarket to meet the driver.

Not Recommended - We did the Tulum and Akumal tour with Ocean Tours and it was awesome. Our experience on the Chichen Itza tour was sadly a disappointment. The van is extremely cramped. There was less leg room than economy airplane seats and nowhere to put your belongings. Simon, our driver, was rude. It was 6:30 am and I asked him to turn down the air a bit and he said "no, it's a shared van," (no one else was on board yet). He said we could turn down the vent above our head and when I fiddled with it, he pushed my hand away and grumbled that "this is how things get broken." (He didn't know I speak Spanish). Jessica was sweet, but she didn't seem to care about anyone's preferences or comfort. There were 12 of us, but she never asked if folks were enjoying the experience or if they needed anything. Her explanations of Chichen Itza were so lengthy and verbose; we spent long periods of time standing in the same place instead of exploring the grounds. When leaving Chichen Itza, she discouraged people from using the restroom because of the lines; saying the next restroom was only 30 minutes away. It was clear two people in the group needed to go, but they held back. It was 45 minutes till the next bathroom opportunity and when we got there, she spent another 5 minutes rambling. She said we would likely have to wait until after the cenote to eat and again didn't ask what anyone's preference was. It was clear folks were hungry and the preference was to eat first. She spent another 5 minutes explaining the food at the buffet (it did not need explanation), but didn't explain anything about drink options. Lastly, the stop at Valladolid is a waste of time. I think a better vehicle, better guides and no stop at the Valladolid might make this tour worthwhile, but be prepared for a long day of driving no matter what.
