Beautiful day of relaxation and discovery - I was contacted by the organizer a few days after booking to confirm the pick up time at the hotel. Pickup on time. Nothing wrong. Pick-up and transfer from Playacar is a bit slow (counting 1h30), but it is still reasonable considering the price and distance. I recommend the morning departure so that I can photograph the cenotes in their most natural beauty before there are too many people. I arrived at the opening for 9am and the first return was at 3pm (the second at 5.30pm). I chose 3pm and I was afraid of being bored for 6 hours on site, but ultimately not at all. I recommend starting with an hour-long photo walk to go around the park at an uncrowded hour. Then get into swimming gear, take a shower and rent a locker (MXN 100 not included), then wait (max 15 min.) at the entrance until a guided tour starts. A park guide will make you put on a lifejacket (mandatory and included) and swim around the 2 underground cenotes (spectacular). Some participants could not swim, but this is not a problem with the vest. You're safe and the guides are looking out for you. The guide will also give you some time to swim in the 2 open-air cenotes (less spectacular but more pleasant to swim in). The tour (swimming and walking between cenotes) lasts about 1h30. You will have already spent 3 good hours. Counting a small meal, you will have 2 hours free then to go back swimming as long as you like in the 2 open cenotes. By the time you dry out and dress up, the 6 hours will pass quickly and you will not be bored. Good to know: - mosquito repellent and sunscreen are prohibited; unfortunately, mosquitoes are omnipresent, so there is little you can do to protect yourself, -the shower is compulsory, - one cannot enter the 2 underground cenotes without a vest and without a guide; you are therefore obliged to join a guided tour (included in the price) if you want to enter and it would be a shame not to go there. It is written in the rules posted at the entrance, but it was not clearly explained at the pre-visit briefing and I only saw it afterwards, which led to some confusion about how things would go. My only regret is that I wasted time understanding how the tour was going, including the obligation to guide visitors to the underground cenotes and when and where the tours began. Overall, a beautiful day and good value for money.

Cenotes - We had a guide through all the cenotes that was very nice. The cenotes itself were very cool, there were 2 open and 2 covered ones.

Inaccurate Description. Ripoff. Van ride with drop-off outside a resort park. - Don't be fooled. This "tour" is a crowded van ride to a local water park. This tour drops you off outside of a little-known resort space with a couple of small cenotes. It does not include lunch, locker storage, or any knowledgeable guides. The price of entry to the park and a van ride to it is $20-30 USD if paid in pesos.
