Tour to Tulum and Coba - The trip and tour was very good, both the driver Salvador and El Guía Rodrigo did their job excellently, Rodrigo gave us a very good explanation of Tulum

Reputable and highly knowledgable company - This was honestly an all around great experience! Our guide was Arturo and he made the experience fun and immersive. Tulum was great with a guide and biking in Coba was fun! There was so much history and learning about it was so fun. We didn’t expect it, but we were blessed by a Mayan medicine man before the cenote and it was really a cool cultural experience to take part in. The cenote was refreshing and the food was super tasty. Would definitely do this again!

Great day trip - We had a great tour guide Mundo, loved that it was a small group / small bus (less pick up time). Informative, just enough time ( Coba could have been a bit longer) .

Cenote not as advertised. - Transportation to the area was very tight. We went to the Cenote but none of the group dared to go in, it was pretty disgusting and was not the Va tore pictured in the ad on Viator. Food was ok and Tony our Tour guide was great.

Mayan Ruins - When they said they gonna pick me up at 8:55, they really did showed up exactly at 8:55! The tour was good but a lot of free time in my opinion. I would rather have longer guided as the ruins do not have explanations on them. It says on viator that the tax is $25 usd but the day of tour, they said it is $29 usd and not sure why it says $25 usd on viator. I think you should get it updated. Cenote was small but fun as you can jump off the cliff. The food included was humble taco lunch. The transfer back to the resort was a mess. Seemed to have a lot of miscommunication and I ended up get back to the resort after 80 mins rather than just 20-30 mins. The driver wasn't sure where he supposed to go to and ended up going back and forth so much.

Contradictory indications - I bought this tour through an agency that works with Viator. So far, all right! But many of the indications I had did not come true. We were contacted before the tour with the indications, it didn't happen! I had to contact you! Pick up at the hotel! Nor did it happen! Lunch with drinks included! I had to pay for the drinks! I ask you to tell the truth!

Not bad but could be better - This trip is a long one so prepare yourself for a LOT of driving! We had a great guide, Tony, and driver, Pepe. The ruins were all very interesting. Glad we opted for bicycle taxi at Coba since the whole trip was a lot of walking. The buffet was very rustic and food not really to our liking. It was an incredibly hot and humid day in October so that affected our experience as well. There was a Mayan shaman at the Cenote who performed a cleansing ceremony which was cool until he picked all the obvious non-hispanic looking people to receive a piece of obsidian jewelry for a hefty price. Also the Cenote itaelf was also very rural and not clear and clean looking as in the pics. Overall a decent experience. Recommend private transportation if you can get it for a quicker trip

They left us lying!!! - We never got to go because they didn't pick us up. Viator didn’t give a solution only that they would send them an email (we were still waiting for the pickup), that they would already respond (and while what???) said to call the company that they were only intermediaries and of course, it’s not their problem. I had to call a tlf from Mexico from a Spanish one 20 min (with the price that it entails) and they did not bother at any time to call the guide, they simply told me that there were last minute changes of the pickup site that I was not notified and that they had left, that they were very sorry but that they would not do anything else. Later the reason he gave me (on the same call) was that they were not allowed through the security gate. That would simply have been arranged if they had contacted us and gone. They had my phone, my room number, my email... But you'd better go and leave us lying around. THEY'RE AWESOME. I asked them a thousand times to call the guide (I would have done it but they wouldn’t provide me with their phone) but they just offered me the money back. What impotence! It's not fixed by returning the money, gentlemen! When you are left lying around, you lose the excursion and the day so you can do it. The end of the call was, ma'am, don't bother anymore because you're almost there.

Misogynist, pervy tour guide - This is a three part review: (1) the guide: (2) the sites: (3) the driver. The guide, Arturo, was the most sexist, misogynist, disrespectful guide I’ve ever encountered in all my years of traveling. He also kept putting his phone in the driver’s face numerous times which is dangerous always, but especially on the main road back to Cancún which is heavily transited. He did it so many times that I was able to capture a clear video of this. He can gamble with his own life but not with mine and my family’s. Also, Arturo volunteered a story to the driver about how he and his friend followed two women home (unbeknownst to the women) back in the U.S., how instead of being invited into the apartment, they were invited to a restaurant where the women had big (insert vulgar name for breasts here) ones and motioned bouncing with his hands near his chest. When I spoke up he tried to shut me up until I told him me and the other guests in the car don’t need to hear about his sexual fantasies and that he could save that for his personal time. My daughter and nieces were in the car. This happened after an entire day of hearing him call women lunatics because of our periods. My nieces even tuned him out early on because he seems to have some unhealthy obsession with women’s 13 menstrual periods. He said the moon makes our memory sharp because if we are wronged, we will remember 20 years later. The guy even referred to his own boss as “the little girl.” Being of Mexican origin, I’m well aware of macho culture, but this guy took it to a whole other level. This guys sucked the life out of an otherwise nice day. Take a different tour with highly-rated guides. If you end up on a tour with this guy, shut him down early. I tried to remain quiet all day because I didn’t want to ruin the experience but it was actually he who ruined it. The sites: I do recommend the actual sites, though. Bring pesos so you can rent bikes or trikes in Cobá. Try to negotiate prices in the little shops because they double what you should pay for if they know you’re a foreigner. In Tulum, it’s a small site. Our guide spent so much time talking about the lunacy of women and bellybuttons that we only got 7 minutes to walk the nicest part of the park. Bring pesos for paying for life jackets at the cenotes because not all accept cards. The Mayan community running the cenote we went to was great and so was the food. We went to Playa Del Carmen but only got 20 minutes to explore mainly because our guide loves to hear himself talk. The driver was super attentive, responsible, and kept the car clean. I hope for his sake they don’t pair him up with Arturo again because Arturo will be jeopardizing his livelihood.

Worst tour - The check-in process was an absolute nightmare, taking nearly an hour with no proper explanation or organization. To make matters worse, all the English-speaking tourists were crammed into a small, uncomfortable van for a more than two-hour drive. This was completely unacceptable—no proper bus, no consideration for comfort, and not even a guide present in the van to provide any information or assistance. Had we known this was how the journey to Tulum would be handled, we would never have booked this tour. The lack of transparency and disregard for customer experience is shocking. Writing this at the very start of the journey says a lot about how disappointing this experience already is. We expected better, and this is nowhere near the service that was promised or advertised.
