Family day out - Wonderful place to go, lots of little hidden gems on the walk around the estate. Kids were kept entertained throughout, great day!

Spectacular - Beautiful place, gardens and grounds spectacular. Went on a very informative tour, explaining how the stud works. Loved seeing all the foals. Personally we didn’t enjoy the racing experience, aimed more for a family with children.

A wonder education and soft new foals to pet - Wonderful experience learning about racing topped with the chance to pet new foals. The new Racing Experience is a fantastic way to learn about horses from breeding up to racing. The informative guided tour answered every question ( even those complicated questions from horse owners like us).

Fabulous but eat before you visit. - First time to visit and was so pleasantly surprised. Gardens and surroundings amazing and tour guide was terrific. Give yourself time for both tours and enough to walk the gardens too. Only negative was the over priced restaurant. Service was less than enthusiastic and food looked very tired for the price.

cannot recommend enough - 100% recommend, spent over 3 hours here and at first i thought it won't be interesting to me but i had the best time 1) i attended a tour about the stud, the tour guide was amazing and everything was really interesting, its included in your ticket 2) i did the racehorse experience they have in the moment which was a lot of fun, at the end you do a virtual race with others, also included in the ticket 3) the japenese garden is the first one in europe and its one of the prettiest ive ever visited!! there are also lots of other things to do, you see lots of horses who won races (i am not into horse racing at all), theres also a cafe, restaurant, shop etc also its only a 20-25 min walk from kildare town centre and i think there's also a bus :) i will visit again !!

A wonder - Not to be missed. The place is beautiful, there are many horses, both mothers and foals, both stallions and "pensioners". We were able to pet a foal and see some fantastic stallions. Everything is taken care of in detail. We did not see the gardens, we preferred to take another ride independently between the horses after the tour.... wonderful experience!

Good half day out. Book online - Lovely morning out. Beautiful Japanese garden. The experience was fun, designing your own ride and taking part. Unfortunately the tour guide was late so we could not do it as we had limited time, so walked off to see the horses without them which was fine.

Disappointed - This was our 2nd time here and we were disappointed as there were alot of empty paddocks. We walked up to Blanford Yard and that was derelict so we didn’t go to the other one. Only horses in 4 stables. There were alot more horses in it a few years ago. The horse experience is really only for kids. I would have preferred to walk around and read all the info and the interaction rather than someone talking in your ear. The gardens were very small.
