Scott, the tour guide, is passionate about storytelling! Experience the captivating historical narratives, intriguing tales, and fascinating tidbits of Tucson’s history on this guided walking tour! The tour covers Tucson’s establishment in 1775 as a Spanish Colonial Presidio and explores 4,000 years of Native American history.

Participants will view a historic Sonoran Row House and discover how these mud adobe structures were designed for the desert climate. The tour includes a stroll past charming historic mansions, including three designed by the renowned architect Henry Trost, and shares the captivating stories of the Pioneer Founders, including one particularly amusing tale!

The tour also visits the historic Pima County Courthouse to learn about the capture of the Dillinger Gang in Tucson in 1934. Participants will hear about a famous gunfighter and the intriguing story of Tucson’s first cathedral.

The tour continues past a historic theatre, a stunning former department store, Tucson’s first skyscraper, and a former luxury hotel, while exploring Tucson’s mid-century shopping scene that gained national recognition!
