Mombasa to Salt Lick Lodge

Salt Lick Safari Lodge - Guests will be picked up from their hotel or the airport and driven to Taita Hill Sanctuary via the Mombasa Nairobi Trans-African Highway. Upon arrival at Taita Hills Resort, a delightful lunch featuring a variety of dishes will be served in the main dining area, offering a pleasant atmosphere. After lunch, the journey continues deeper into the park, arriving at the renowned Salt Lick Game Lodge. Guests will check in and then embark on a game viewing drive. The day concludes with a return to the lodge for a delicious buffet dinner, providing a breathtaking view of the floodlit waterhole, offering a close-up view of the animals, followed by a restful night.

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary - This public community wildlife conservancy serves as a wildlife corridor for animals entering and exiting Tsavo West National Park. It is home to all the big cats, elephants, and numerous species of antelopes. The river winding through the park creates a wonderful wildlife atmosphere during game drives. Guests will spend the night within this sanctuary at the Salt Lick Lodge.

Salt Lick to Mombasa

Salt Lick Safari Lodge - An early morning breakfast is followed by an enroute safari, allowing guests to enjoy the sunrise and morning wildlife. Guests will then depart the sanctuary and begin the journey back towards Mombasa, with a complimentary lunch provided at Kilimanjaro Curio Shop along the way. The estimated arrival time in Mombasa is between 3 to 4 pm, depending on traffic.
