Alice, clear, close and passionate. - We want to place on record our recognition of Alice, our guide on the historical and monumental route through Trujillo, because when someone does their job well, it must be said loud and clear. The visit was very complete and well structured. From the Plaza Mayor to the Castle, through palaces, churches and less obvious corners, Alice demonstrated an in-depth knowledge not only of historical data, but also of the social, political and human context of each era. He didn’t just recite dates; he helped us understand why Trujillo is the way he is today. That makes a difference. The best: his way of explaining. Clear, close and passionate. You can tell when someone enjoys telling the story. He was able to keep pace, make the dynamic visit and answer questions without losing the thread. In addition, he introduced curious anecdotes about the Trujillan conquistadors and architectural details that probably would have gone unnoticed without their explanation. The acceptable: the group was a large group and at certain times, especially in more open streets or with some noise, it was difficult to hear clearly. Perhaps a portable audio system would further enhance the experience. The least positive: the weather in some key points tasted little, especially in the castle area. We’re left wanting to delve a little deeper into certain historical episodes. If I had to tell a friend, I'd say, “If you go to Trujillo, take the guided tour with Alicia. You’re going to understand the real city and not just see it.” It is worth it because it changes the perception of the place. As a recommendation for future participants: wear comfortable footwear (there are slopes and cobblestones), sun protection if the weather is good and, if you can, make the visit at the beginning of your stay in the city; so then you can go through it with another look. Thank you, Alice, for transmitting history with rigor and soul.

Guided private group tour with Ana. Spectacularrr!! - Spectacular guided tour of Trujillo with Ana Remedio. We were a group of friends from Badajoz, who already knew Trujillo and could not choose better. Ana taught us “another” different Trujillo. To highlight the pleasure of his explanations, the passion he puts to the stories he tells, his kindness and sympathy. If we come back, we'll repeat another visit with her. Sure!!! It's very worth it. Thank you Ana!!
