• Palacio de San Carlos - Known also as the palace of the Vargas-Carvajal, this Plateresque building in Spain retains its original Plateresque entrance and the facade facing Domingo Street. It is a private palace and not open to the public.

• Francisco Pizarro Equestrian Monument - This is the equestrian statue of Francisco Pizarro.

• Castillo de Trujillo - A medieval historic center featuring a Muslim Alcazaba, walls, strong houses, manor houses, palaces, convents, and churches.

• Plaza Mayor - A strong house from the 13th and 14th centuries where the Catholic Monarchs stayed during the Wars of Succession.

• Iglesia de Santiago - A 13th-century church founded by the Military Order of Santiago.

• Castillo de Trujillo - Features a Muslim Alcazaba and Aljibe from the 10th to 12th centuries. Entry is not permitted during visits.

• Pizarro House Museum - A 15th-century manor house of Hidalgo. Entry is not permitted during visits.

• Iglesia de Santa Maria la Mayor - Declared a National Monument, this Gothic church contains earlier Romanesque elements like the Torre Julia and a Spanish-Flemish altarpiece by Fernando Gallego. Entry is not permitted during visits.

• Casa Fuerte de los Escobar - A 15th-century military construction where María de Escobar, the first woman to bring wheat and barley seeds to Peru, lived. It is a private residence.

• Puerta del Triunfo - Known as the Trujillo triumph gate.

• Plaza Mayor - A strong house from the 13th century that defended the Puerta del Triunfo.
