Highly recommended! - Very nice and eventful tour! We have seen humpback whales and orcas, even if they only briefly came out of the water. A white-tailed eagle also showed up on the tour. On the way back we were accompanied by magnificent aurora borealis for over an hour. We also particularly liked the informative lectures given by the local guides Francesca, Kristina and the young man, whose name we unfortunately can no longer remember.

Smooth Ride & Stunning Orca Encounter - ⛴️ The hybrid ship is perfect for anyone prone to seasickness. It is incredibly quiet and very stable. 🗻 The three-hour ride to the hotspot was beautiful with mountain views, and seeing the orcas was unforgettable. Plenty of space on board, ideal for taking great photos. 📷 Tip for photographers: bring a 300–600mm lens. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Amazing crew. Very friendly, professional and always helpful. Special thanks to Massi, Queen B, Tobias, Torkan and Viktor!

We had a fantastic time! - Our trip started with a 3–4 hour boat ride that showed us the beautiful Tromsø fjords. As we continued toward the open North Sea, we were lucky enough to see several families of orcas – an absolutely unforgettable experience! The crew was wonderful throughout the entire journey, sharing lots of interesting knowledge bits about whales, the marine ecosystem, and many other insights. The boat itself was very clean and well maintained, and you could really tell that the crew was passionate and knowledgeable about what they do. A great experience for both young and old — highly recommended!

Memorable experience, but deceived by confusing information - The whole experience was memorable, but we felt a bit deceived. We were in the group that first took the bus trip, and then boarded the boat to do the whale watching and returned to Tromso by boat. The bus was ok, but not much leg space. The guide was experienced and spotted white tailed eagles on our way. The trip by bus is very beautiful. However, we felt misled by the unorganised check in experience at the meeting point and the website gives confusing information. First, we weren’t aware that there would be a division of the passengers. One group went by boat, and returned to Tromso by bus, and the 2nd group did the other way around. Our main interest in this experience was to be able to search and see as many animals we could on board of the boat (not only killer whales). However, we probably had less time with daylight on board than the first group. By the time we were returning to Tromso, most of the trip on the boat was nearly in the dark.

Can only progress - The staff is friendly and committed, the scenery very nice, but the excursion that was supposed to stop at two different places, was only done at one place, and lasted only a handful of minutes. Not great experience

Need to update meeting points. - First off, I was in their meeting point inside the building. Nobody was there to direct you where to go. I go and walk to the boats and everyone else was there. They need to update the meeting point ! This is a 9 hour boat ride round trip. We were only watching the whales for about 1 hour. We were barely able to see them since more boats were around. In the beginning they also said free hot chocolate and later on im so hungry I ask for some and they charge me. So just save your money and buy yourself food before getting on. I hope for atleast the amount I paid Id get a complimentary snack or drink. I basically paid more for the boat ride than seeing the actual whales. Honestly not worth it from my money.

Waste of time and money - Definitely a waste of time and money, on 9 hours of activity, only 1 hour of proper whale watching. The 8 remaining hours are travel time to and from where the whales actually are. During those, you will have to face presentations on several topics that you can compare highschool students presentations… some of them are interesting, but so many of them during 8 hours is really boring. The ship is filled with as many people as it can take, and the place where you go to see the whales is crowded with ships (5 ships when we arrived there, then you need to add the 3 ships of brim explorer) For people who wants to focus on whale watching with a quick trip and less crowded experience, I would recommend doing it in Alta more than in Tromsø.

Yes but no - The boat's fine. Bad luck, we haven't seen any animals except several seagulls. 9 hours of travel, all day, to enjoy a phenomenal landscape but the sense of disappointment that we did not see what we came to see. Too bad. It's what's got to trust things to a lucky break. You have to stay with how positive the magnificent cruise through a dream landscape is. It will be again, or maybe it will never be again.
