Fantastic experience and well organized tour - The tour was very enjoyable, evenly paced and well organized. We drove for an hour outside of Tromso, enjoyed feeding the reindeer, then sledding, followed by a hearty soup and stories from the Sami. It’s truly a wonderful experience and a great way to spend a morning in Tromso. Highly recommend.

A great experience - The sleigh ride was so much fun and getting to be with the reindeer while feeding them was also a highlight. Learning about the Sami culture was very interesting and it was fun to try the reindeer stew.

So fun! - If you do the excursion, do it right. Pay extra for the reindeer feeding the sleigh ride and then lunch with the Sami cultural presentation. We did the Viator excursion for this. The only thing I didn’t like was it was a huge bus load of people I prefer smaller groups.

Fun Sami experience! - We departed Tromso and rode about an hour into the Laplands. The tour included warm drinks, light snacks, reindeer feeding, sled ride, photo opportunities with the reindeer and Sami people, lunch (reindeer stew or a vegan option), bread, cookies, and some great examples of Sami culture. It was a very fun experience that the whole family enjoyed. Learning about the Sami was absolutely fascinating. Highly recommend this tour for children of all ages 1-99!

Great experience - Incredible activities, feeding queens, carousing animals great. Breakfast and fabulous queen's stew, then to conclude small history of Sami life animated by the locals. Only downside I do not understand English 😂

Great tour - This tour is amazing. Highly recommend. Unfortunately there wasnt enough snow for the sledding and relieved a partial refund for that bit but the rest was great anyway. The sami talk was also very interesting and the food was good.

Hungry Reindeers - The sledding had to be cancelled due to the conditions (not frozen enough) but it was still a great experience feeding the reindeers and learning about the Sami culture in Norway. You could feed the reindeers as much as you want (there are so many of them) as long as you can bear with the cold.

Santa would be proud! - we really enjoyed learning about the reindeer and their handlers! So much culture to learn about and they did a good job explaining it!

Well worth doing. - Had a lovely visit, spending time feeding the reindeer, the sledge ride was fun too. The reindeer stew was delicious and the talk after was very informative. Well worth the money.

Trip cancelled without notice - This was supposed to be the highlight of my Norway trip, but the tour was cancelled and they did not even bother to notify, i found out after waiting for sometime and calling the operator myself. Avoid any bookings with Authentic North in Tromso a d also Viator both of them are useless and do nit care at all about their customers. From now on I will avoid using Viator for ever as I had similar experience in Lisbon.
