A worthwhile trip - This was an excellent trip and we throughly enjoyed it especially my husband! The crew were friendly and helpful and it was well organised.
I recommend you take the thermal suits they offer you to wear as it was very cold but the suits kept us snug. We got to eat the cod that was caught and had coffee and tea and a fishcake too!
The only thing you don't get is your own fishing rod if the trip is full so we had to share the rod between 3 but this was still fine and we all got a substantial go to catching fish!

A faultless crew! - We went in January. Beautiful weather but wrap up warm. The team and captain were so friendly and we were well looked after. An absolute faultless trip. Was the absolute highlight of our holiday! Don’t visit Tromso without booking this trip!

12⭐️ out of 5! An unreal experience with Hermes II - Our Fjord and Fishing cruise on the Hermes II was easily the highlight of our trip to Tromsø. If I could give them 12 stars out of 5, I would!
The Crew & Service:
The service was truly superb from start to finish. The crew were amazing—attentive, knowledgeable, and they made sure we had the time of our lives. They truly go above and beyond to make the experience feel special and personal.
The Sights & Fishing:
The fjords are absolutely stunning, providing a beautiful backdrop for the day. The fishing itself was a blast, and we were lucky enough to catch some incredible, massive Arctic cod.
The Best Souvenir:
One of the best parts was that the crew gave us fish to take home! It didn't go to waste—we’ve already enjoyed spicy creamy tom yum cod and pan-seared cod with lime. It was so good we even brought some back to London with us.
If you are in Tromsø, do not miss this. It is an unforgettable experience with a top-tier crew on a beautiful, historic ship.

So brilliant it’s set my sons career - I rarely write reviews, but it’s more than 6 months since going on this trip and my 13 year old has been so inspired that this is now what he adamantly wants to do as a living! The fishing was really superb, but it was the crew and the way they looked after everybody that excelled. My son not only got fully involved with the fish, but learnt about seafaring navigation and helped drive the ship slightly off and on course. This time with the captain and crew, who went on to explain about being a marine engineer with the coastguard, has him fixated on being the same. I can’t thank the crew enough for igniting an incredible passion that I had absolutely no idea was there. You have made such a huge difference! I expect we will have to travel far and return one day, as there’s not been a day since the trip that he hasn’t talked about it. Absolutely brilliant nurture and inspiration… you’ve literally changed his life. An incredible day … thank you!

It was a great trip,... - It was a great trip, everyone caught some cod, saw jellyfish, saw eagles and seagulls diving into the water.
We caught a few big cod to have for lunch, delicious.
