In the footsteps of Joanna Lumley! - Mag (aka The Silver Fox) was a fabulous tour guide, very informative and gave us clear instructions so we would all stay safe. Drove us to two different locations and we had the most fantastic light show at the second one, by the water with mountains behind us. It fulfilled a bucket list dream of mine ever since seeing Joanna Lumley on the BBC in 2014 with The Land of the Northern Lights. Beautiful Tromso you didn’t disappoint!! We were a group of 11 ladies who travelled together (and had never met before we gathered at Luton airport!) so it was a very emotional and special time for all of us…we travelled as strangers and came home as friends who had all shared the most magical of times!!

Highly recommend! - HIGHLY RECOMMEND - great guide and beautiful photos. Go with Northern Lights Tromso (NLT), go local. This company works with a network of local, dedicated, and knowledgeable guides who scour the country skies for lights. Because they actively communicate; if there are lights, they will find them. They are also very prepared and safety is of the utmost importance. If you are cold, TELL THEM! They have gear available. That said, dress warmly - don’t forget socks. Finally, the guides take pictures and videos. They stay out in the cold and set up their camera for the perfect shot. They take lots of photos professionally and they sacrifice their cold hands to do it. Thank you Magne!

Great Experience! - Great tour - our guide Rebecca was great in all aspects - knowledge of the Northern Lights, photography, etc. and Johnnie our driver was great!

It was anazing - Perfect night! Stefan was a very good Guide and the Photos are breathtaking. Stefan changed the location 4 times and we saw the northern lights at 3 spots.

Amazing Experience! - We had the best time on our tour! The Guide was amazing. We made two stops and were able to see the northern lights both times. 10/10 would recommend. We will surely be back another time!

Fantastic Night.... "A 3 Hour Tour" with Magne as the Skipper! - We went on our Norther Lights Chase on Oct 18. The weather had not been good since we arrived in Tromso and we were worried we wouldn't see anything. Magne was a great guide. He was waiting for us near the tour office and welcomed everyone on the van as they arrived. He told us he had been out until 1:30AM with the previous tour group the night before, so our expectations weren't high. Nevertheless, soon after we started our Norther Lights Chase, Magne pulled off the road and told us the lights were there. Everyone got off the van and started taking pictures for the next 30 minutes. When a couple of us asked about going to another spot, Magne explained that we were in the perfect spot. So we stayed put and for the next 3 hours we were treated to the most amazing constantly changing light show. Magne took tons of pictures of everybody and he uploaded them all the next day for us to download to our computers later. I know we were lucky to be in the right place at the right time because the next night we went on a 4 hour NL boat tour and we barely saw anything. Though it can be a crap shoot whether you see the lights or not, NLT Guide Company, and Magne in particular, do a great job.

Martin the guide was very experience and wonderful guys. - Martin the guide was really a wonderful guy with experience chasing the northern lights. Me and my wife from Singapore was so impressed by his work , we highly recommend anyone who wants to goes on this tour to book with NLT Guide Company, you will not be disappointed. Chasing the northern lights - This was the most magical experience. We did a chase on a mini van with a small group of nice people. The driver / guide Mag was the best! Such an energetic, fun and knowledgeable man. We drove for miles on a very cloudy night but managed to find the northern lights!

October, amazing for Northern Lights - The Northern lights tour is amazing, Magne is an incredible guide, driver and photographer who is very knowledgeable about the route and the northern lights. He explains perfectly how the night will be like and is very committed with the search of the northern lights. We had an incredible night, with large and spectacular northern lights. Without a doubt, I highly recommend taking this tour.
