- Troms - Once the perfect spot is found, it’s important to choose a secluded area, away from other tours and artificial lights. Patience is key, as the Northern Lights may appear within minutes or take several hours. To enhance the waiting experience, a campfire is lit, and participants can enjoy homemade soup, cookies, and hot chocolate while learning about this natural wonder. During winter, temperatures can range from +5°C to -30°C, so thermal suits are provided for all participants.
For those with cameras, guidance is offered on optimal settings to capture the Northern Lights. Professional photos are also taken to ensure a lasting memory of this magical night.
- Troms - It’s important to remember that nature is unpredictable; sometimes the sky may remain cloudy or solar activity may be low. However, even on uncertain nights, a 20-minute break in the clouds can provide a stunning display. With expertise in local weather and modern tools, the chances of being in the right place at the right time are maximized.

- Minimum age : 14 years. Arctic nights can be intense, and the presence of children could affect the comfort of the family and the group.
- Clouds over Tromso? No problem! The tour takes place outside the city in search of clear skies. Weather forecasts change often – please contact me before cancelling if you have any uncertainties.
- Even if I provide suitable thermal suits for Arctic temperatures, I strongly recommend wearing basic winter clothing (base layers).
- The Northern Lights is a completely unpredictable natural phenomenon. Nights without the Northern Lights are rare, but occur. Therefore, the Northern Lights can never be guaranteed 100%.
- To ensure a pleasant atmosphere for all participants, smoking is not allowed throughout the tour – even during breaks outside the vehicle. Even a short cigarette outdoors can make jackets and gloves smell strongly of smoke, which can be very uncomfortable for other guests in a tight minivan.
