As some of the most seasoned guides, they review weather forecasts before each tour and maintain close communication with a network of guides to maximize the chances of witnessing the Northern Lights. The comfortable 4x4 vehicle is fully equipped with everything necessary for the Arctic, enabling the discovery of remote landscapes and access to tranquil and serene locations. Pick-up is conveniently located in central Tromsø, providing more time to find and view the Aurora earlier! With each night offering a unique experience, the enthusiasm and commitment remain unwavering.
Upon reaching clear skies, the team will set up camp for the evening. Often, this involves a short drive to the nearby coastal islands of Tromsø, or if required, a longer journey into Finland.

The best aurora experience you could ask for. - Northern Soul Adventures were absolutely amazing. Our search for the northern lights was the highlight of out trip to Tromso and this was down to the amazing Joaquin and Ana. Joaquin’s knowledge was astounding and his passion for the lights incredibly infectious. He is completely driven to give you the best trip possible. He and Ana took us to a frozen lake where we sat on the lake around a fire pit and had delicious hot soup, hot chocolate and snacks. Ana’s driving was impeccable and despite the pitch black and snowy roads we felt in very capable hands. Joaquin took amazing photographs which he emailed to us the next day. We would highly recommend Northern Soul Adventures to anyone in search of the aurora.

Highly recommended! - Amazing! Worth everything, small group, guide was excellent. And maybe you can tour several places. They are very prepared for the cold! And the vehicle is very safe and warm. I recommend it even if you have already seen auroras always look different and this experience is very good!

À la recherche des Aurores - We went on a van trip with Mathias and Thomas in search of the Northern Lights. It wasn’t easy due to heavy snowfall, but thanks to their experience, determination, and the use of several apps, they managed to take us to Finland under a clear sky. There, we were lucky enough to witness a beautiful aurora display under the full moon.
We warmed up around a fire with a delicious soup while listening to Thomas share fascinating anecdotes and explanations about the Northern Lights. On the way back, they did their very best to look for more activity, but unfortunately there was none.
Thank you both for this unforgettable evening. I highly recommend them.

Amazing experience with Samuel! - Incredible Northern Lights experience! Samuel was an outstanding guide: he is knowledgeable, patient, and very experienced. He worked hard all night to find clear skies, explained everything clearly, and made sure everyone was comfortable and able to enjoy the aurora in warmth. We were lucky enough to see amazing lights, and Samuel made the whole experience feel relaxed and special. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended - We had an unforgettable adventure with Northern Soul Adventures chasing (and finding :) the aurora. Our tour guide was Bogdan and we really couldn’t get a better guide! Not only was he very knowledgeable about northern lights and the region but also very kind and professional. Considering that the weather in Norway was a disaster, Bogdan took us straight to Finland and we managed to see a beautiful spectacle of northern lights. We had a very nice campfire with some soup and hot chocolate, while enjoying the aurora constantly changing shapes and colours. Not to mention all pictures that Bogdan took are absolutely dreamy and a perfect souvenir. We have a comparison to other tour operators and if we ever come back we would definitely chose Northern Soul Adventures again.

Best experience ever ! - This was one of the best experiences we have ever had! Our guide Fede was fire ! He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, kind and beyond professional. We weee paired with an equally easy going French family of 6. We were a total of 9 people including our guide. We were so lucky to see a corona, the best kind of auroras. Fede took frame worthy photos, we had yummy hot chocolate, soup, coffee and snacks, thermal suits, heating pads. We would love to took the trip again, specially with Fede !

Bucket list item ticked! - We had a fantastic experience with our guide JJ. He took us to a great location, the timing was perfect and we arrived right before the lights exploded. No other tour groups were with us so we had the spot all to ourselves. This small tour was fantastic, and felt very special with the campfire and food. Highly recommend!

Amazing last night Aurora with great guide! - We had an amazing night in Skogsfjord, lead by Bogdan! It was our last night in Tromso and we were waved good bye by an amazing Aurora! Bogdan made it feel safe and we had to believe in him since we started with a sky almost completely covered! He gave great photo tips and took amazing photos of all in the party, whilst driving, making the fire, serving soup and hot drinks, imparting a lot of info about the northern lights and being super-positive and fun! All in all I am very happy we chose Northern Soul Adventures - would go with them again!

A lifetime of memories friend.. so awesome! - What a brilliant night, a real once in a lifetime experience. Fede went above and beyond to make it a magical experience. I can’t recommend it highly enough. It was Awesome!
