In a group capped at 15 individuals, we’ll guide you to areas with clear skies, provide professional photography, and assist you in configuring your camera. Photos taken will be shared via email. If you require a tripod, we’ve got you covered!
To ensure comfort and warmth during the tour, we provide thermal suits and warm footwear. Later, we’ll gather around a fire, relishing in its soothing ambiance while indulging in sausages, warm beverages, and cookies.
- Please provide us with your shoe size and height
- Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required
- Remember to bring your passport (in case we will drive to Finland) and put on warm clothes!
- Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if less than 4 passengers per tour. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund

These guys know their stuff - Strongly suggest Northern Horizon and would like to thank our guide Max. That guy didn’t base his predictions and route based on just experience in the region but real time data and was forecasting every light appearance 20 even 30 minutes before it occurred which resulted into leading us in a quiet valley where we saw something spectacular. Huge thanks to Max for the professional and wonderful photos that he made of us.

Super Aurora Experience - It was incredible! Our guide, Harry, was very knowledgeable about the aurora & knew the best places to take us. We stayed later than most of the groups around us & the aurora really exploded after that. A++ experience.

Magical Night - I highly recommend this excursion with Norhern Horizon. Our guide Bert and driver Bart were perfect.
Despite the initially unfavourable weather, they managed to find us the perfect spot to watch the wonderful show of the Northern Lights.
It was a magical night and we are extremely grateful to them for doing their best to make it happen.
A very friendly and professional team that I can only recommend.
Thank you to Bart, our excellent driver, and Bert, our guide, for his support, sharing his knowledge, the stunning photos he sent us, his enthusiasm and his friendliness.

Highly recommend - Unfortunately, we saw the Northern Lights for a very brief moment and through our cameras, but it was not for lack of trying. We visited two locations, but the sky was mostly cloudy that night (it even started snowing on our way back), and there wasn't much aurora activity. However, the overall experience was nice: we ate real reindeer sausages (not the artificial hot dogs sold in many places), had warm drinks, and our tour guide Max explained the science behind the aurora and helped with camera settings. He was also constantly on the lookout for the aurora. Even though the night was not too cold and without any wind, the thermal suits were a nice addition.

A dream fulfilled! - All perfect!!! Guide Max, experienced, together with attentive driver, took us in an open place(stone beach) to see beautiful Aurora Boreal!!!
With fire, hot chocolate and hot dog, we can take photos and some will be sent by email!!!

Unforgettable show - Super worth it, the aurora was probably one of the best things I have ever seen in my life. Harry is extremely knowledgeable and shared lots of cool info - he also picked a great location with clear skies to watch the aurora on, directly on the Finnish border. I also have to commend our driver Rafael for safe driving in the night and snow.
We saw the aurora twice, first a fainter light and then a huge storm some hours later, it was mind-blowing and made standing out in -15 well worth it. We were also kept warm with thermal clothing, hot chocolate and food by the fire, which was very much needed. But if you also have chronically cold hands, several glove layers and maybe hand-warmers would have come in handy, I came sort of under-prepared.
Ultimately, we also just got lucky with the sky, but the effort and preparation put into the tour made it even better.

Great experience - We did 2 tricks: one with Max, the other with Harry: we saw beautiful aurora borealis both times.
Max and Harry take the time to explain the phenomenon and hunt it down, help with the photo and both show passion and excitement.
The photos received following the excursion are beautiful.
(the thermal combination is useful and the reindeer sausages shared around the campfire is a very friendly moment).
I highly recommend!

Epic half moon night in a fjord watching the Aurora - We had an amazing night with Harry, who explained the physics and science of the Aurora Borealis in good detail. Small group, comfortable minibus and great arctic-weather jumpsuits! And a couple of amazing pics to remember an epic night with
