Amazing trip - We were very lucky to see the Northern lights since we got out of the Harbour. The Crew Tobias, Dacil and Alberto were very friendly.

Northern Lights cruise - A northern lights cruise is a gamble, as you can't 'chase' the lights as well in a slow moving boat, however the gamble paid off and we had an excellent display after initially thinking we would not have much luck due to heavy cloud cover. The soup was delcious!

Northern lights - We had a fantastic trip and saw amazing northern lights!! Although we had a group on board who did not listen to the talks of the crew, the crew kept being friendly and kind. Very amazing crew! Thanks for the most amazing experience Carel and Linda

Nive experience - Despite a heavily overcast night, we spotted auroras thanks to the captain's skill in finding a clear patch. Embarkation was chaotic—the meeting point differed from the map due to another boat's technical issues. We queued at the wrong vessel before relocating. Once aboard, the interior was cozy and warm. As we sailed from port, exterior lights dimmed for optimal viewing. Away from city glow and clouds, the lights danced vividly—a true spectacle. A faulty microphone meant we missed the soup service announcement, but they offered soft drinks as compensation. (A hot beverage would have been ideal against the chill.) Pro tip: Maximize time on deck; displays are fleeting. Note: Auroras often appear only on phone cameras as subtle grayish clouds to the naked eye. We were lucky—initial glimpses via app evolved into visible greens. Ships are impeccably equipped for harsh weather and emergencies, with thermal suits and ample lifeboats. A memorable, worthwhile adventure!

Great Crew / Experience - Bad Weather Night - Took this cruise as a last ditch opportunity to check out the Northern Lights. Unfortunately, the weather was bad and nothing was visible. The boat and crew were great- explaining everything and trying their best to get us somewhere to see the lights. My only gripe would be that the soup included in a weird veggie one vs a standard chicken noodle or something more common. The cookies were also hard as rocks.

Putting the bore into borealis - It was a cloudy night in Tromso, so I was excited at the prospect of hitting the fjords and chasing the lights on a 3.5hr trip. Sadly not. This was basically a very slow, dull boat trip around Tromso island. At one point the boat just stopped and bobbed about near the airport for half an hour to waste time before heading back to the city. I’m sure it’s amazing when the skies are clear - just remember to cancel 24h before if the forecast isn’t great. I wish I did!
