Fun chase despite very cloudy - Despite rain and clouds, we set out with Bert, our brilliant guide, on a journey which in itself was enjoyable, along the coastline, then up into the remote mountains. At the most probable spot, we got out, drank hot berry juice and watched the skies clear enough to see gorgeous stars, but no aurora. Bert had supplies of clothing, boots, more hot drinks whilecwe waited, but this was not our night for her to appear. Bert made the trip still so enjoyable, its always a risk on such a very cloudy night that you won't be lucky, but still was a fun night 😄

A good experience made memorable by our super professional guide - We were a small group of people. The pickup location was easy to find. Our guide, Bart, was very professional. He explained us the concept of the 4h Express Tour which is different than the usually long 8h tours. Knowing that we could only see aurora if it is closer to Tromso in the Express tour, we were not expecting much but Bart ensured that it becomes an arctic experience and does not stay limited to aurora. Half an hour into our ride, he found us a lakeside corner, very quiet and peaceful where there was a baby aurora. Through his experience, he suggested us to wait here and let it evolve in a bigger one. We stayed there and enjoyed the natural lightshow begin and end in around an hour and half. Bart is a professional photographer himself. So, he clicked some pictures for us and later sent the link to buy but did not force us. It was cold and he offered us hot chocolates and cookies making it a cozy environment. We also discussed Wandering Owl's initiatives to protect the flora and fauna in the region and responsible tourism. He was kind enough to drop us all at our respective hotels at the end. Overall, it was an experience that we will cherish throughout our lives.

Best hunting - We went with the guide Bart, from the beginning he was searching in all apps, cameras and hunting WhatsApp groups to be able to find the best place.
The day was challenging, bad weather and chances against.
But we still saw the lady of the night in the sky.
Without a doubt, Bart made a difference in the hunt.
I recommend closed eyes, close without fear with them!

Great experience - We went with the express tour with Bart as a guide and enjoyed it very much!! It was a small group. Even though the weather wasn't very good for spotting the northern lights , because of the many clouds, Bart quickly decided for a spot where we were able to see the Aurora! We changed spots after there were more clouds and saw the northern lights again. The guide was very professional, making sure everyone had a great time and had a great music taste!

Best tour - We did the express aurora hunt with Jordy. It was one of the best experiences of our lives. We managed to find a great spot to see the beautiful northern lights in a short space of time. Jordy was an amazing interactive guide who kept us entertained and informed.

Delighted I picked the... - Delighted I picked the express tour as I didn't want to spend up to 8/9 hours chasing the lights and potentially still not see them. As it happens we did see them and our guide, Evgeni, was great at explaining the scientific and cultural background to them as well as keeping us entertained and warm. I'd recommend this tour to anyone else going to Tromso.

Exceptional! Final night lights! - Express tour booked. Evgeni made the whole night perfect took us to the best places to view and wow wow wow!
So fortunate to see Aurora we were truly blessed! Also shooting star!
Couldn't ask for more perfect guide who was even going to go over and above to work longer hours if needed so we could get to see Aurora as it was no need as perfect spot and wonderful information and stories told to us. We definitely learned a lot.
Lovely warm drink and biscuit too was so kind.
What an end to the most wonderful break in Tromso.

Northern lights trip - Took the 4 hour trip in Tromso to see the Northern lights. It was an amazing trip, really informative and friendly guides. Make sure to wear warm clothing as it very very cold especially on feet and hands.
