The adventure kicks off at Tromsø Skistadion, where participants are warmly greeted by their guide and equipped with skis, poles, and boots. Following a brief fitting session, the group embarks on a gentle and encouraging introduction to cross-country skiing. The lesson, crafted with input from Olympic champion and co-owner Erik Valnes, offers beginners straightforward exercises to help them gain balance and confidence from the outset.

Once ready, participants glide into the serene Arctic landscape surrounding Tromsø. The pace is relaxed and accommodating for everyone, allowing ample time for photographs and to savor the winter scenery. Throughout the journey, the guide shares captivating tales about Norway’s skiing heritage—highlighting its influence on Viking travel, Sami customs, and everyday life in the north.

Midway through, there is a pause for a warm beverage and a Norwegian snack, after which the journey continues with participants feeling more assured on their skis. The experience concludes back at the starting point, leaving participants with newfound skills and a deeper appreciation for Norway’s skiing legacy.
