Unreal Northern Lights Show - Unbelievable experience! We got really lucky and only had to go about ~30 minutes outside of the city and the lights were in the sky fairly early on in the evening. We experienced the most unreal dancing lights show! Our guide Erika was super knowledge about the weather patterns and overall very friendly. Our driver Lukasz got us to our destination safely and made sure we were all set with the bonfire, insulated suits, and everything in between. The Wandering Owl tour was run very well and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a seamless experience.

Great experience even though we didn't see the Northern Lights - Visited on April 2024 and forgot to leave a review but it was a very great experience for me. Even though we did not get the chance to see the Northern Lights, driving through snow-covered lands of the beautiful Northern Norway was a very memorable experience for me, one I regard as truly worth the money I was paying. They also took us to see some nearby places and towns with beautiful landscapes for us to take pictures. Our guides were very, very helpful and was as excited to hunt Aurora for us, even though they had seen it many times. They were prepared to explore and go on further adventure but sadly the sky turned brighter faster in the dawn of Spring in Tromso.

Aurora Hunt - Had a lovely experience on the Aurora hunt with Isaac back in March. We were lucky to find some gaps in the clouds on an overcast night and got some great pictures with the lights. Isaac created a really friendly environment and as it was a small group tour it was so nice sitting by the fire chatting, waiting for the lights. Highly recommend 😊

Unforgettable! - Tromso is expensive, but totally worth it. If sighting the aurora is the purpose of your tour, a 5 day stay is the minimum, with at least three northern lights hunt bookings to maximize chances. Also, highly recommend lesser known experiences like the Tromsobadet and the introduction to Nordic cross country skiing. The hotels in general are expensive and rooms super compact. Unforgettable trip, overall!

Great Northern Lights seen - The tour was just great, although it rained almost all the time and then snowed Samuele, Alex and Max then found a spot in Finland with almost no clouds and the Northern Lights were really great to see. It would be a great experience and the team of Wander Owls was great, always happy to return. Instagram @wanderingowl #wanderingowl #owltravels

One of the best options out of Tromso. Professional and committed - An excellent and fruitful aurora trip. Our guide was informative and enthusiastic. He found an excellent space and waited that extra 30 minutes that let us see dancing auroras right I front of our eyes!

Highly recommend Wondering Owl for Northern Lights tours!!! - The weather has been terrible for several days in Tromso, my previously booked tour with another company cancelled. Only had two more days in Norway and I was very keen to see the Northern Lights. January 14 was a cloudy night not much visibility, but our fantastic tour guides Tomas and Michael researched the areas where we should be heading and we were one of the few groups on that day who managed to see the Northern lights not once, but TWICE! They prepared a nice campfire and meal for us, we had a wonderful time waiting for the lights to show up. They were magnificent displays! Tomas took great photos that I will cherish. I am so thankful, that our guides were so knowledgeable to find the right spot and I managed to see the Northern Lights first up prior to returning to Australia.

Great northern lights tour - Had a great tour with Tomas as Jodnas last month! Tomas was great and offered a lot of insights about pretty much everything. We drove to near the Finnish border which was around 2-3 hrs driving away to see the lights, but it we did in fact see them. Highly recommend Wandering Owl.

One bucket list checked! - The only tour I booked @ Tromso and finally I could tick off one of my bucket list. All was as expected, even we were able to see the northern lights even though it was already in the beginning of April. Shout out to Samuele and Michael for the amazing trip. Just one little improvement: dinner was only soup with bread, as expected, so I brought my own dinner...
