• Bryggejentene AS - Bryggejentene is a delightful café and shop located in a historic pier building from the early 20th century. Once a fish farm, Bryggejentene has been a favorite spot since its opening in 2010. Enjoy delicious coffee from Strøm Eriksen here.

• Sommaroybrua - The Sommarøy bridge is a free-standing bridge connecting Kvaløya to Sommarøya in Troms. The bridge spans 522 meters, with the longest span measuring 120 meters. It is part of county road 7766.

Sommarøybrua has a single lane and is equipped with traffic lights to manage traffic direction. However, it was reported in 2004 that the traffic lights malfunction during windy conditions, which occur relatively often.

• Sommaroy - Sommarøy is a historic fishing village in the western part of Tromsø Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. Located about 36 kilometers (22 mi) west of Tromsø, it is a popular tourist destination known for its white sand beaches and scenic beauty.
• Brensholmen - Brensholmen is a serene coastal village on Kvaløya island, west of Tromsø. It’s renowned for its ferry connection to Senja and its stunning seaside views—a peaceful stop surrounded by Arctic nature.
• Rystraumen - Rystraumen (also known as Storstraumen and Rya) is a strait at the easternmost part of Straumsfjorden between Kvaløya and Ryøya in Tromsø municipality in Troms. The strait is about 500 meters wide and relatively shallow, creating a tidal current that can reach speeds of up to eight knots.
• Straumen - Straumen Farm is located in the picturesque area of Straumsbukta on Kvaløya Island, approximately 35 km from Tromsø’s center. This authentic coastal farm features most of the traditional buildings typical of northern coastal farms. It offers insights into a life of fishing, animal husbandry, and agriculture.
