Great day sight seeing outside split. - Great day spent outside of Split touring the surrounding areas. Seeing Trogir, Klis fortress and even the Olive Oil factory were all enjoyable. The only part we did not care for was the weird Virtual Reality stop done in the middle of the tour. I would suggest skipping this completely.

Very Good but Wet - The tour was very good, with lots of information provided for each stop. We probably could have skipped the virtual reality exhibit - I couldn't see anything because I had to take my glasses off for the helmet. A rainstorm struck as we were trying to leave the VR exhibit, but we took it in stride and viewed the fortress, albeit a bit damp.

Excellent Tour of Split Surrounding Area - Excellent tour covering Trogir, Salona, Stella Croatica Olive Farm, Hidden Dalmatia Visitor Centre and Klis Fortress. If you're visiting Split this is a must. Mareen the guide was really good and gave a great local perspective of the area and its history

A fabulous way to see several sites without a car - Duje was a terrific guide. He was very informative the entire day. Trogir was gorgeous, Salona was fascinating, the olive oil at Stella Croatica was delicious (bringing a few bottles home), and the views at Klis Fortress are breathtaking. I highly recommend spending a day with this tour! It’s quite affordable and gets you to some of those harder to reach places without a car.

A very economical and efficient way to see a lot in one day - We took the Apodos blue line historical tour from Split, in one day. This was a very economical way to see several sites outside Split and because of that, and with the caveats below, I would recommend it. While there is a guide accompanying you, I would call the tour "guided light". You might want to read at least a little background on the sites before you go, or on your phone along the way. It is a long day (more than 7 hours on the tour itself and you have to get to the meeting point and back, so say 8 hours). Advice: Take alot of water and some food to eat - there are few opportunities for either along the way - and a good hat and sunscreen if it is a sunny day in summer. It starts in Trogir , a charming historically important island town. Well worth visiting. Then it goes to Salona - well worth visiting if you enjoy seeing/learning about the ruins of Roman cities. You need good walking shoes (it will take at least an hour at a good pace to see most of the site). Note - there is a 5 Euro entrance fee (not covered by your bus tour ticket). Then it goes to Stella Croatica - This is basically a family business making high-end products from local produce. There is a small exhibition about how olive oil is made, and some explanation of how some of their other products are produced. You end up in their shop where you are left to look around, taste things, and (they hope) buy something. You are not required to do this leg of the tour - if you opt out, you sit in the bus for an hour. Note - there is a 5 Euro entrance fee (not covered by your bus tour ticket). Then it goes to Hidden Dalmatia Visitor Center - you get a virtual reality tour of the region and then walk through a small exhibit that includes a reproductions of the oldest olive tree in the region, a local cave, and a model of the mountain range. If it were me planning this tour offering, I would drop this element and add some time to get some food, perhaps some local specialities. Then it goes to Klis fortress - which is well worth visiting, if for nothing else than the spectacular views of the region. If you are a Game of Thrones fan, you will enjoy it because some of the filming for the series was done here. Note - there is a 5 Euro entrance fee (not covered by your bus tour ticket).

Don’t waste your time with this tour. - The guide was good, but did not give very much historic information at the three sites. We listened to a recording, he showed us where to start and we were on our own. The stops at Trogir, Solona, and Fort Klis were not long enough. There were two additional stops that were a total waste of time - I felt they were tourist traps and wished our time was spent in the three advertised stops. My online information said nothing about these stops, so I assumed the 7-8 hour tour would allow enough time at each location. The two added stops were frustrating. The first was a 3-d video with glasses of sites in Croatia, YouTube does a much better job of this. The second was suppose to be an olive oil museum, but it was just a few rooms of photographs of making olive oil and lavender oil with a sales pitch about how pure and good their very expensive olive oil and natural cosmetics were. A private tour or small group tour with another company would have cost a little more, but been well worth the difference!
