Your small-group tour begins with pickup from your accommodation in Izmir followed by a 3-hour drive to Pamukkale. Your first stop is “Cotton Castle” named for the white, terraced travertine formations filled with mineral-rich waters. Relax in the natural hot spring pools, just like Cleopatra is said to have done

Then, head to the ancient city of Hierapolis where you can learn about the Hellenistic and Roman empires that once ruled the region. See its recently restored theater and then opt for a stop to shop for jewelry, leather, carpets, or ceramics on the way back to Izmir. At the end drop you back to port.
