A Perfect Day in Antalya - From the very first message, Ali demonstrated the kind of thoughtful, proactive care that sets an exceptional tour operator apart. Knowing we were traveling with my mom — a lung cancer survivor celebrating her 60th birthday who relies on a mobility scooter — he went out of his way the day before our tour to photograph the available vehicles and send them over so we could confirm her scooter would fit comfortably. Such a small gesture, but it spoke volumes. Our driver Erme and guide Gamze introduced themselves the morning of our tour to make sure we knew exactly where to find them at the port — no scrambling, no stress. The van was spotless, and a cooler of water and drinks was offered the moment we settled in. Erme, strong as a bull (his words, and accurate!), took complete ownership of loading and unloading the scooter at every single stop. I never had to touch it once the entire day. Gamze was, in a word, exceptional. With a degree in history and a genuine passion for sharing it, she kept us thoroughly engaged from the first moment to the last. A map of Turkey was pinned up in the van so she could effortlessly bring her storytelling to life — pointing out regions, tracing history across the country as the landscape rolled by. She wasn’t reciting facts; she was sharing something she clearly loves deeply. When it became apparent early on that the first planned waterfall stop wouldn’t be feasible for my mom, Gamze and Erme didn’t miss a beat — they simply restructured the day on the fly, without fuss or frustration. Our first stop was a stunning gemstone and silver showroom, where we were welcomed with Turkish coffee and treated to a fascinating introduction to some of Turkey’s most remarkable native gemstones. There was no pressure, no hard sell — just genuine hospitality and great conversation. Our representative there was an absolute delight, and had my mom trying on jewelry and giggling like a schoolgirl. No complaints from either of us! From there, we headed to the Lower Düden Waterfall, set right in the heart of a beautiful city park along the coast. Breathtaking doesn’t quite cover it. We wandered with Gamze, then found a bench to sit, breathe in the fresh sea air, and simply enjoy being exactly where we were. Lunch was a feast — kebab served on warm flatbread with bulgur pilaf, fresh salad, acuka (a rich red pepper and walnut dip), haydari (creamy herbed yogurt), and lavash bread, finished with künefe: a warm shredded wheat pastry filled with melted cheese and soaked in sugar syrup that is as extraordinary as it sounds. Gamze walked us through the menu and ordered for us, which made the whole experience feel effortless. After lunch, we made our way to Kaleiçi — Antalya’s breathtaking Old City. Walking through the ancient streets past Hadrian’s Gate, it genuinely feels like stepping back through centuries of history, with Gamze narrating every step. Along the way, we had the opportunity to step inside a historic mosque — a first for me, and one I’d been quietly nervous about. I wanted so badly to be respectful and do everything right, and Gamze, without any fuss, simply took care of me. She helped me properly arrange a headscarf, walked me through what to expect, and gently reassured me throughout that I was doing just fine. It was a genuinely moving experience — both the mosque itself and the grace with which Gamze made sure I could enjoy it without anxiety. That moment, more than almost any other, captured exactly who she is as a guide and as a person. We wandered on through charming shops, stopped for fresh-pressed juice, and wound our way down toward the harbor — where a Turkish ice cream vendor gave my mom and me a laugh we’re still talking about. 🍦 At the harbor, we boarded a boat for a scenic cruise along the coastline — including yet another stunning waterfall viewed from the water. Since the scooter couldn’t come aboard, Gamze had already arranged a safe spot to store it, and even offered to stay behind to keep watch. We wouldn’t hear of it. She’d kept us so engaged all day that leaving her on the dock wasn’t an option. Erme had us loaded up and back to the ship right on time, scooter and all. For a long while afterward, my mom and I just kept saying the same thing to each other: “That was a great day.” Simple as that. Gamze, Erme, and the entire team delivered something genuinely beyond what I thought possible given our limitations — a full, rich, joyful day in a stunning city, completely stress-free. I would return to Antalya a hundred times over, and I’d book with this team every single one. 🇹🇷

We would not recommend this tour - Cons: 1) Our tour guide took us to a carpet store where we got the hard sell to buy a carpet. After we walked out of the store to find our tour guide (who had dropped us off there), our guide mentioned that he knew the place was overpriced. We couldn't believe that he would take us to a place where he knew we'd be taken advantage of! This stop was not listed as part of the tour. Worst part of the tour, and, frankly, the reason we would not book with this company again. 2) Because we spent time at the carpet store, we did not have time to stop at the second waterfall, which was disappointing. Knowing what I know now, I would have told the guide that the two waterfalls were my highest priority and that we wanted to see them first. Pros: 1)The upper Duden waterfall, which was very good. The waterfall was very nice with multiple views above, in front of and even behind the water. 2) Our guide provided us local ice cream, which was nice. Lunch was included and was good. We did have to pay for our drinks, 2 euros for 2 bottles of water-not bad. 3) The cable car was nice with nice views.
