It was a great experience start to finish - we learned so much and they even got us in last minute. My boyfriend had a blast!
We had a wonderful time kayaking with Kayak Trinidad. They supplied us with all the gear we needed. Spent a good amount ofttimes explaining safety and kayaking techniques. Kept us all together as a group and delivered on the theme of info on wildlife that we were seeing. Very pleasant and friendly staff - made us all feel very welcomed. Thanks to Michelle, Jason & I'm afraid I have forgotten the other young man's name - but you were all terrific. Highly recommend for knowledge of the area and kayaking.
My husband and I went on the Whales and Wildlife tour, Jason (our guide) was very accommodating and before the tour we were given good instruction. During the tour we were able to see many things from the starfish and urchins on the rocks to the sea birds and seals. A highlight of the tour was when we got to see a porpoise. We would take the tour again if we find ourselves in the area
Mindy, our guide, was very informative and friendly. We were all new to the ocean Kayak experience and we. We will definitely recommend this tour to our friends.
The guides did an excellent job of providing natural history information and making sure we minimized our impacts on wildlife.
I had a really good time. The group wasn't too big. The equipment was good. Our guide Jason was very informative and pleasant to be with. The conditions were great. And we saw lots of whales!
Super personal and professional. Exceeded all expectations for this activity. Jason was a perfect guide for this and very knowledgeable.
Jason was a great guide putting use in good position for all sorts of wildlife. He knows the bay well. He also gives you options on the water. Great trip! Will do it again soon..... Steven Rogers

Friendly and knowledgeable guides who make ocean kayaking safe, effortless and fun. I mean you still need to paddle, but they do all of the heavy lifting so that you can simply enjoy your time in this beautiful place.
Full service is an understatement. Kayak Trinidad went above and beyond! What a fabulous way to spend a morning.
Jason always does an amazing job. His enthusiasm and excitement makes the kayak trips that much more fun. Jason is very knowledgeable not only about kayaking but with the surroundings. Jason provides all the equipment which is always clean and well maintained. I will continue to sign up for his tours and I am happy to see his business is growing.
The trip was wonderful! Jason and his guides did an awesome job making everyone feel comfortable and safe in their kayaks and the whales put on a quite a show. I highly recommend signing up for one of Kayak Trinidad’s trips.
Jason and crew were very nice and well prepared. They made us feel safe and well taken care of. It is a beautiful place and we will be back.
The guides were so personable yet professional. This was my first kayak outing on the ocean and not once did I feel ill at ease. I will definitely return, with friends, for another guided tour!
Outstanding trip! Thank you!
My husband and I took the Trinidad Bay Tour for our 10th anniversary and loved it. The guides, Jason, John, and Andrew, were very helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I was pregnant when we took the tour, although still in the first trimester, and Jason worked with me to find a suit that fit comfortably and even adapted some techniques to use if I should fall out of the kayak (which I thankfully did not do). And when I felt a little queasy and needed some smoother waters, John took me and my husband back to the bay without complaint. On our tour we were able to come up close with a seal pup and it's mother, as well as starfish, anemones, and mussels. The grand finale was the close encounter with two groups of whales. My husband and I got a special show on our way back into the bay as there was a mother and her calf that popped up in our path. We had an amazing time and could not recommend this tour enough. Even out of whale season there is so much to see and it is so fun paddling your own kayak. If I hadn't been dealing with morning sickness, I could have stayed out all day!
Jason was a great host! We saw plenty of spouts and whales, along with seals & their babies. I had never kayaked in the ocean (just Humboldt Bay) so this was an adventure for me. I really wanted to see whales. We did and it was AWESOME.

We had a great time with Jason as our tour guide. No whales but we enjoyed our kayak adventure and would do it again. And we would recommend it to our friends and family.
Kayak Trinidad was a great way to get out on the water for the morning. Jason was very friendly and makes beginners comfortable. You can tell he genuinely enjoys his job and wants to make sure that everyone has a good time. I would recommend the trip to anyone visiting the Trinidad area.
Jason was so on top of our trip. He called before we went out to spell out the options. He had great gear ready to go. He gave great instructions on paddling and emergencies. He was funny and kind and informative. We would highly recommend him and will happily come back again!
A wonderful trip. Great guides, a lovely spot. The whales didn't show up on our day, but they're hard to control... We'll be back and try again.
Great guides, great service, beautiful spot. Highly recommend
