Very nice caves but the surprise was the castle - The caves are beautiful, suggestive and well organized. The route starts and ends with the train and on foot you walk for about 40 minutes so they are also suitable for children. At the entrance they give audio guides. Outside there is a small park (next to the parking lot) where you can have a picnic in the shade. The real surprise was the castle: ‘embedded’ in the rock is really very suggestive. The interior is quite sparse and there are not many furnishings because the environment is damp and they have not reached us. Here too they give the audio guide that tells the story of the castle, how they lived and the stories of those who lived there, in particular Erasmus of Predjama

Return to Slovenia to see the caves and castle. - The Caves are fantastic, never seen anything like it. Excellent organization, do not be afraid of the line, because at the fixed times everyone enters. I recommend to buy your tickets online before departure, with the audio guide (you will be the first on the train). Duration: one and a half hours, of which about one hour on foot with a guide. The Castle is unique is fantastic, inside the rocky mountain and inside rooms and floors shared between caves and rooms. Many steps to climb, including some in narrow corridors. Worth it is impressive.

Lovely castle - The castle in the rock is worth visiting, amazement at the ingenuity of the human being. The caves are beautiful but expensive, personally I appreciated much more the caves of San cazano

A natural wonder - I only visited the caves. Really very nice and with a fantastic organization, in fact you find guides who speak virtually any language. Unfortunately, I have seen too many people who I don't know why they systematically did the opposite of what they were asked to do: don't flash and don't touch anything. The first rule is respect for nature .. disobeying directions does not make you better but only emphasizes how ignorant you are!

Wonderful - What about we were fascinated by so much wonder. The organization is excellent, an Italian guide (in our case) made us know and discover the history of how they were discovered and their evolution. The train that makes you do a nice stretch of fantastic route and then together with the guide you go up and down for a kilometer and a half of curiosity and splendor.

Fascinating caves - We were yesterday to visit only the caves. The route is very nice. A little bit on the train and a good piece on foot. I liked the caves but personally I found the ash caves more beautiful. However I recommend visiting these caves are fascinating. Only advice, for those with small children bring the stroller because the walk is long enough. Bring something heavy to wear, because inside the caves it’s really cold not only cool😂

Nice experience, but very expensive - We got the combined ticket for caves and castle: 38 euros per person. Beautiful caves and with an Italian speaking guide. Dress because the temperature is 10 degrees. The best thing was the visit to the castle with audio guide, really interesting and castle inserted between the rocks.

A little disappointed - Very beautiful there is nothing to say and certainly immense, however, with a type of lighting that does not enhance them and then unfortunately there are many broken stalactites ...... however they are absolutely to be seen, the train penetrates for 4 km and on foot you do less than 2 and it is a beautiful walk
