Must do Tassie trip - This has to be Tasmania's best kept secret. What a fabulous day out cruising the circumference of Maria Island. Great commentary and wonderful scenery of the entire island from the sea. Also 2 hrs walking tour on island. Lunch supplied was fresh & plentiful as was morning tea. All in all, a trip not to be missed when visiting East Coast of Tassie.

Fantastic & totally recommended day tour - This was an excellent boat cruise day tour which included so much history, beautiful scenery & sights, a great mixture of cruising & walking (but you can stay on the boat if you don’t wish to do the walk) where we were even lucky enough to come across so many wildlife sightings……it included a lovely morning tea with the seals at Ile Des Phoques & a yummy lunch in the bay of the Painted Rocks at Maria Island as well…….our driver & guide, Steve & Xavier, (& also the lovely young lady behind the counter where we checked in at the cafe beforehand) were all such wonderful hosts - very informative, friendly, helpful & courteous, thank you so much for a fabulous trip………we would definitely recommend doing this tour Debbie & Jim

Stunning Views and Fantastic Wildlife Experience - Fantastic tour with stunning views of beautiful Maria Island. Easy pick-up from Hobart. Michael our boat captain provided excellent commentary on our boat tour around the island, stopping often to point out really interesting geological features like the Great Unconformity. We even went into a cave to see stalactites! We saw lots of dolphins up close, albatross and fur seals. We had a nice tea and cakes in one cove, then later on a delicious lunch at a beautiful sheltered cove with a white sand beach. Molly provided an excellent wildlife and history tour of Darlington. We saw wombats, pademelons, Cape Barren geese, wallabies and a kangaroo. Overall it was a fantastic day and we loved the variety of experiences on this tour.

Memorable! This tour is a must! - A fantastic day from the start! Molly picked us up in Hobart and drove us to the Maria Island boat. The captain and boat crew, including Molly, were delightful...welcoming and attentive to the needs of us passengers. The geology of the island is breathtaking and our captain shared so much information about it. He even navigated the boat into a colorful cave. The only way to appreciate this stunning island is by boat. Truly a memorable day!

Adventure on the sea and the land around and on beautiful Maria Island - Exciting adventure on the water and land. The hard-working crew of two makes the adventure what it is, an exciting experience, lesson on the history, geology, and wildlife of the area. The caring crew are there to make you comfortable throughout the journey. We were able to see wildlife in the waters and on the land with a walking tour of Maria Island and the convict quarters. A nice lunch was served on board the boat as well as snacks and drinks throughout the tour. The boat was comfortable and managed well over the rough water with the experienced captain at the helm. An enjoyable day, indeed.

The captain Mike and the staff Freya and Rachel were all so friendly helpful and full of great knowledge. The catering for lunch and morning tea was generous and very good. Really just a wonderful day out, highly recommended.

Amazing - Highlight of the trip so far!!! The weather was a little rainy so all the animals were all out on the island. The views from the boat were incredible, you can’t get that kind of view except by boat. Captain and crew were friendly, informative and service oriented. If you do nothing else book this trip.
