One of the best things to do in Wanaka! - We had the most incredible experience with Wildwire, such a unique and thrilling way to explore the stunning scenery. Our guide Georgia was absolutely amazing, she was super helpful, friendly, and made sure we felt safe and confident the entire time. Her instructions were really clear and easy to follow, which made the whole climb even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Wanaka – it's an unforgettable adventure! You get all the excitement and adrenaline of being an expert climber with a lot less effort!

Fantastic FUN Experience - This was the most fun and challenging experience I’ve ever done anywhere. Rocky our guide was kind and professional. Once he taught us how to use our clamps and shorty, we were off and climbing. The course itself was well thought out and got increasingly challenging as we ascended. The views were breathtaking but the bridges were my favorite. I’m not afraid of heights but at times I felt a bit queasy being 210 meters up and hanging by a cable! I never felt unsafe at any point. I enjoyed lunch with my small group that I met on the climb and then thoroughly enjoyed the hike down. The hours flew by and I felt like I had just experienced the most fantastic adventure in New Zealand. The drive back to Queenstown was gorgeous. DO NOT pass up this opportunity to climb these waterfalls!

Life IS about experiences, and this is one you should have!! - This was an awesome experience --- Tristan was a great guide: thorough with the safety measures, attentive to making sure everyone abides by them, and very personable to talk with during the journey. The views along the way up are nothing short of stunning. I am NOT a fan of heights by any measure, yet I never felt concerned for my safety and even got myself to 'let go' and release my hands from the cable at one point. Now, for me, THAT's an extraordinary leap of faith and one I do not regret!!

ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING - The Wildwire team were absolutely outstanding in every aspect of the operation from booking to the completion of the experience. The guiding team were professional and related well to the student group they were leading and created life long memories. The environment was breath taking and the experience was exceptional. Amazing time! - Amazing experience climbing up the side of a mountain. We initially signed up for the level 1 climb but were quickly convinced that we wanted to do level 2 and opted to upgrade the day of. The guides make sure to tell you that level 2 is about twice as difficult as level 1, and they are correct. Level 1 you are mostly in the tight carveout of the mountain, while Level 2 is a lot more open. dont recommend if you have a big fear of heights, however, I was able to enjoy the experience with a minor fear of heights. Make sure you are in decent shape as well for level 2 as this is a long climb (2-3 hours) and physically/mentally taxing. Our guide was friendly and informative and took several pictures along the way that she airdropped to us following the final decent. Would recommend making your decision to upgrade to level 2 before you sign up to make sure they bring a sandwich for you that you will be thankful to have at the top. I brought a 30 oz (890ml) water bottle in a backpack but wouldve been happier with a little more. Would recommend!

Challenging and Satisfying Comfort Zone Stretch - My wife (61) and I (58) thoroughly enjoyed our climb today, largely due to our amazing guide Jasper. He had the perfect blend of safety-related seriousness, teaching excellence, confidence-boosting encouragement, and charismatic humour. My wife climbed to level 1 height and I continued with Jasper and 2 other participants to level 2. All of the staff, including Jasper's calm demeanor and effective instruction, gave my wife the confidence to reach heights she wouldn't otherwise have done. Today's experience challenged me more so mentally than physically, and stretched my comfort zone. The scary heights and stunning waterfall views exceeded my expectations. Everything was top quality from the climbing equipment to the lunch + snack included from a locally-sourced Wanaka provider. Wild Wire is superior value to other adventure activities we did in Queenstown, like bungy jumping. Certainly a highlight of our NZ vacation that I highly recommend.

Mind-blowing high adrenaline adventure - Amazing, unique, adrenaline pumping adventure as you scale about 1700 feet up the waterfall. It tests your fears and your limits. Alison was an awesome guide and even a person terrified of heights did it and enjoyed it. So glad we did this!

Must do!!! - UNREAL experience. I work out maybe 1-2 times a week and didn’t find level 2 challenging. Once in a lifetime experience, with incredible views. I walked away feeling invincible! Shoutout to Rocky, our amazing guide who was constantly checking our safety, while taking the most epic pics of us!! You can’t miss this while in Wanaka
