A perfect 10/10 experience! - We had the most amazing day with our guide, Elvir. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of every place we visited, from Trebinje to Perast. The views from the hilltop church in Trebinje were absolutely breathtaking. A perfect 10/10 experience!

Highly recommend tour - An absolutely seamless way to see two beautiful countries in one day! Our guide was fantastic, the itinerary was well paced, and Kotor's old town was the highlight. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Dubrovnik.

One of the highlights of my trip to Dubrovnik! - The tour was very comfortable with great transportation and a knowledgeable guide. I loved walking through the old town of Kotor, which felt like stepping back in time with its medieval streets and historic buildings. The stop in Trebinje was also a pleasant surprise with its charming old town and relaxed atmosphere. A perfect day trip full of beautiful views and cultural experiences.

A magnificent trip to two countries! - We had an amazing tour with Elvir. We were picked up at our hotel on time and given an outline of what we would be doing during the tour. Our first stop was Trebinje, Bosnia. We walked around the town whilst Elvir explained in detail about the history. We then drove up to the top of hill where a beautiful church sits and you get a lovely scenic view of the town. On our way to Montenegro we were offered a choice between a fish or meat restaurant. We chose meat and the mixed grill we ordered was delicious! Elvir graciously paid for our lunch as we had a delayed border crossing into Bosnia due to the immigration staff. We then headed to Porto Montenegro which is like a little Monaco. Set against snow capped mountains we loved its peaceful vibe. Then we headed to Kotor where again Elvir explained the history of the place. The old town with its cobbled streets and mountain backdrop was amazing. Elvir showed us some of the key sights. We found Elvir to be a very informative guide and a safe driver. We were picked up at 9am and dropped back to our hotel at 6pm so a fairly long day but not too strenuous. We would highly recommend this tour.

A guide who goes above and beyond - Elvir was the most thoughtful and flexible guide. He was attentive to my specific interest and adjusted the tour for unique experiences that really made the tour unforgettable. He also shared some of his personal perspectives with me as a local and that was really valuable to me to feel like I'm getting an honest portrayal of a place. His communication was great leading up to, during, and after the tour. I felt safe and well taken care of. He even connected me with his network of drivers for my other excursions. He goes above and beyond for people.

LOVED MY EXPERIENCE - MUST GO TO MONTENEGRO AND BOSNIA :) - I went with my girl friend and 5 other people who I did not know at the time. Our driver timely picked us up from our hotel, and he was passionate about his country and shared the history with us every step of the way - his van was comfortable - the trip was light in spirit and at a good pace. Montenegro is a stunning country and Kotor was wonderful. I would love to go to the Lady of the Rock if I ever come back here. The trip to Bosnia was quick, and I liked the pace of it. Overall the trip was from 640am and we were dropped off to our hotel by 530pm. It was worth all the money and our tour guide whose name is slipping my mind was awesome! Five Stars for Him!

A good day, but… - We traveled with 4 other (previously unknown) passengers, who had done a tour the previous day with our guide Luca. The places that we visited, along with the activities & his local knowledge of the areas & people was immeasurable & very informative. However, until Kotar, we were unaware that our fellow travelers had made arrangements to be dropped off at Dubrovnik Airport by 3.30pm. Thereby cutting our (advertised) tour time by 2-3 hours. The visit/tour to the town of Kotar was incredibly rushed & there was no time to sit & have a relaxed lunch (by this time it was 2:30pm). Instead we all ate a takeaway lunch (not of our choosing) whilst on the way to the airport. We paid over $1000NZD for this tour & are incredibly disappointed that we weren’t informed from the outset that the tour timing/experience wasn’t going to be as advertised.

We only spent about a... - We only spent about a half hour in Bosnia. There was a quick walking tour and no real time to explore on our own. We would have liked a bit of time for shopping or to get a coffee. It was honestly fine that we spent so little time in Bosnia, though, because the driver got into an argument with the border security guard, so we were uncomfortable and anxious to get to Montenegro. Montenegro was beautiful. However, the description did not fully explain what the situation was. The driver told us we had four options for when we got to Perast: (1) pay 50 Euros each for a boat ride to Our Lady of Rocks; (2) pay 100 Euros each for a boat ride to Our Lady of Rocks, some time for swimming, and then to Kotor; (3) pay 200 Euros each for a boat ride to Our Lade of Rocks and the Blue Caves; or (4) do nothing. It was unclear what the "do nothing" option actually entailed because the driver said there was nothing to do in Perast. (And based on what we saw, that was accurate.) We chose option 2, and the driver's friend picked us up in his boat. That part of the tour was the highlight. The captain was so nice, and the swimming spot he took us to was beyond beautiful. However, we felt like we had been misled a bit because the tour description didn't say anything about this part of the trip, and it was 100 Euros on top of the $300 we each already paid. It seemed like the driver just wanted to help his friend make some money (and maybe he gets a cut of it). I think it was worth the extra cost, but it would have been nice to know that ahead of time. The captain dropped us off in Kotor, where the driver met up with us again. He gave us a quick walking tour and then took us to a restaurant for dinner. It was a bit odd, as there were a ton of restaurants around, and he didn't merely recommend the place; he told us to eat there. He knew the people working, so it again felt like he was just taking us to his friend's business to help them out. The food was good, so I have no complaints about that, but again, it was strange. We also would have liked some time to explore Kotor afterwards, but we went straight back to the car and then back to Dubrovnik. Overall, it was worth it to go to Bosnia and Montenegro, and the boat ride in Montenegro is one of the highlights of the entire trip. But this tour was not what we expected.

Not good - We stopped in Bosnia for coffee only on the Siene River. Then, to some fancy place with yachts in Montenegro and then to old town Kotor for maybe 1 & 1/2 hours. 9 hours day and 6 of it was driving. Lots of traffic. 3 is a bit high of a rating. I do not recommend it. Driver was nice.
