• Trebinje Old City - Trebinje (Serbian Cyrillic: Требиње) is a city in Republika Srpska, a part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is the southernmost city in the country, located along the Trebišnjica River in East Herzegovina. As of 2013, the population was 31,433. The old town area dates back to the 18th-century Ottoman era and features the Arslanagić Bridge.

Situated in the Trebišnjica River valley at the base of Leotar Mountain in southeastern Herzegovina, Trebinje is approximately 30 km (19 mi) by road from Dubrovnik, Croatia, on the Adriatic coast. The river is lined with several mills and bridges, including three within Trebinje and the historic Ottoman Arslanagić Bridge nearby. The river is extensively used for hydroelectric power. After flowing through the Popovo Polje region southwest of the city, the river, which floods every winter, naturally travels underground to the Adriatic near Dubrovnik.
