tour guide was easy to hear and very enthusiastic. Also going into a finished and totally unfinished building was great. However, although the points made on the state of mental illness in our country now and then were appreciated, they were repeated over and over and over... Would have liked a bit more on the history and perhaps seeing a few more buildings. Also, starting out with the group seeing a map of the entire facility (96 buildings, fields, ponds...) would have provided some worthwhile perspective. Maybe also seeing a mockup or some additional photographs that showed a ward/patient room...Lastly, it needs to be communicated more clearly that the tour is mostly (80%?) in unheated/cooled space or outside....many if not most of the people on our tour were noticeably uncomfortable...

The tour is very interesting. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the guide. He was way over the top animated. Could have done the tour in an hour if he had not been so crazy. Also, even though I tend to agree with his politics, that is something that a professional should leave out. Other than that, super fun and informative.

Our tour guide was fantastic, loved all the dad jokes. I love the history behind the systems and the architecture. I wish we could have taken a good look at the floors in Pepe Nero, or if there was a specific architectural tour that would be fantastic!
