Could not recommend this tour and Alessio enough - Could not recommend Alessio and the tour enough.Alessio was both our taxi driver and tour guide. He is very passionate and knowledgeable of the history of the salt pans and also gave us a brief history of the wineries in the area.He speaks good English and is very helpful and outgoing which made the tour much more fun and a pleasant experience. The salt pans tour is a must since it plays a part in Trapani’s history.
Apart from that Alessio is a taxi driver so to whoever needs to book airport transfer or a taxi, I will attach his card

Excursion to the salt pans and salt museum of Trapani - Very interesting experience in the salt pans of Trapani accompanied by the guide Alessio. Spring weather and a nice warm sun made everything more pleasant. Alessio was very welcoming and thorough in his description of the place and activities. We also learned the differences and characteristics of the different types of rooms. We couldn't be luckier.

Visiting the Salt Pans in December has a special charm - We visited the Salt Pans of Trapani and could not ask for better. It was an extremely instructive experience, which goes far beyond the simple beauty of the landscape.
The real added value was our guide ,Alessio, a very knowledgeable person who was able to transmit with passion the millenary history of this place. He explained the salt crystallization process, the importance of the local ecosystem and the hard work of the salt workers with extreme clarity, answering our every curiosity with great competence.
It is rare to find guides so passionate and able to make technical concepts so interesting for everyone. A tour that enriches culturally and that we highly recommend to anyone who really wants to understand the soul of this territory. Very good!"

An experience to live - The salt tour was nothing short of perfect. The landscape is enchanting, the flamingos, the tastings of the various types of rooms, the salt museum with all its history, the walk in silence at sunset and among the tanks... Everything is wonderful. Alessio then manages to capture your attention with a lot of information, anecdotes and even a lot of sympathy. He manages to convey to you all the love and pride for his land and its history.

Tour to the salt pans concerned and pleasant - The visit to the Saline was really a wonderful experience. Our guide, Alessio, is very competent, explains many very interesting things, is nice and helpful. We were also amazed by the salt tasting he proposed. I highly recommend living and getting carried away on this tour.
