Dive into its crystal-clear waters, snorkel, or relax on the boat and enjoy the magic scenery. You will have the opportunity to go to the beach, since we will come enough close to the shore and drop you off, without needing to swim a lot. Enjoy the lagoon at your own leisure for around two hours. Then, we will travel for 10 minutes to reach picturesque Gramvousa Island. There, we will stay one hour and you will have the chance to hike, explore the fortress, and take some breathtaking panoramic views. While making unforgettable memories, taste some delicious Cretan flavors, that we prepared for you and drink refreshing drinks. Next, we need 15 minutes to visit Agios Sozon, a place where the serene atmosphere captivates us and the wild nature gives peace to the soul. The pristine, crystalline waters make it an ideal location for swimming. We will spend approximately 50 minutes there, reveling in its natural beauty and tranquility. Our wonderful cruise will come to an end with a 15-minute trip back to the place where we started.

Amazing Day! - The highlight of our four day visit to Crete was the full day boating trip with Captain Alexei! The boat was comfortable and stocked with beverages and Alexei was incredibly hospitable and informative. The stops are amazing and the best way to see them is on the water! Great day!

Unforgettable Boat Tour in Crete with Captain Alex! - If you’re visiting Crete and looking for a truly memorable experience, look no further than this incredible private boat tour with Captain Alex. From the moment we stepped aboard, we knew we were in great hands. Captain Alex was not only knowledgeable about the island’s history, hidden coves, and marine life, but he also brought energy and sense of fun that made the whole trip unforgettable.
He was warm, gracious, and incredibly attentive to our comfort and interests, customizing the tour so we could swim in the most beautiful secluded bays. This tour is a must-do!

Lovely day on the water! - We loved our day out with Chania Sea Experience. Our family of four enjoyed the visit to Gramvousa Island and Balos Lagoon. Alex, our captain, was great. He shared some information about our stops but also let us relax and enjoy the boat ride.
Communication before the trip was great. Noticing the weather forecast for our planned day, I asked to change our date and they were very accommodating. They also asked for food preferences in advance and everything was arranged.
We had a snack of dakos in the morning and later a tasty, efficient lunch of chicken pita wraps. Drinks (wine, soft drinks and water) were provided throughout the trip.
A great day out to a beautiful part of the island!

Great boat, wonderful captain, special experience - The captain was the perfect mix of friendly annd knowledgeable while never being overbearing. He explained the history of the islands and the fortress, made us delicious Dakos, got us prime spots for swimming at Gramvousa, Balos lagoon, and another secluded inlet, and was also happy to just let us enjoy ourselves peacefully relax on the comfortable deck. The boat is incredible: so fast and powerful but also an incredibly smooth ride. It handles big waves with ease and is a perfect mix of power and luxury. This is a different and truly special view of the northwest coast of Crete and couldn’t be with a friendlier or more competent captain. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

Awesome experience. Beautiful views. - What an amazing experience. We booked this for one of our last things to do for our honeymoon and we would 100% book again. Alex was our captain for the day and he was the nicest guy and very laid back. We felt extremely comfortable while in the boat on the water. Alex was very attentive to our needs and made sure we had a great time! Booked with Kostas via email and he was detailed about what to expect on our trip. Can’t say enough good things about both of them. The views and beaches were amazing. You will not be disappointed.

Book this tour!!! - This is the tour to book! Kostas makes planning so easy and is quickly responsive to questions during the booking process. Alex is a TOP NOTCH captain! He is a native who loves this island and will help plan the timing of your trip to beat crowds and see the most beautiful areas. There is a lovely lunch and snack provided, and the beer and wine seemed never ending. We had the most perfect day on our trip and I will be recommending this to anyone I know planning a trip to Greece!

Amazing day - We had an incredible experience with Kostas and Alex – an incredible team that brings the beauty of Crete to life, making you fall in love with it even more. The boat is spacious and comfortable; we enjoyed beautiful rosé wine and delicious bruschetta prepared for us by Alex as we explored the stunning Balos beach.
Alex is, without a doubt, the best skipper in the world. He not only offers warm hospitality but also provides a strong sense of security when the sea gets rough, making you feel completely safe with him. With this incredible and hard-working man, you’ll truly experience the beauty and ease of life.

Excellent experience - Excellent half-day trip to Balos. The boat is large and safe (we were 8 + 1 baby).
Super efficient communication prior (the slot had to be changed because of strong wind)
